Abstract: The article introduces the appearance and characteristics,release mechanism and preparation method of microcapsulated dyestuff and reviews its application to textiles in recent years.Applications of this technology not only impart textiles novel appearance and special functions,but also effectively solve some problems existing in the dyeing and printing.And most importantly,assistant-free and washing-free dyeing of textiles with microcapsulated disperse dyes can be realized.
