Abstract: To investigate and relieve the pilling propensity of wool knit fabric, this paper aimed at the morphology and the fixed scope of the dimension involving the appearance shape, spatial structure, morphology and effect of surface, i.e., the length, the diameter, scale pattern of wool fiber surface, crimp, surface friction and rigidity etc of wool fiber and the effect on wool knit fabric was summarized. The researches of previous researchers about morphology and dimension and its effect on fuzzing and pilling of wool fabrics were briefly reviewed, to illustrate the importance of morphology and the dimension of wool fiber, and to prompt that the research on the aspect will contribute to the classic problem of fuzzing and pilling resistance solving and breakout.
