Abstract: The self-made nano-negative ion finishing agent was treated on the fabric by pad-dry-cure process. The effects of finishing agent concentration, dipping time, curing temperature and time on the negative ion concentration released from the fabric were discussed. The optimum finishing technique was obtained: 30g/L of negative ion finishing agent, dipping time 10 min, curing temperature 160 ℃, curing time 1 min. The fabric finished by nano-negative ion finishing agent could release high concentration of negative ion. The water proofing and oil proofing properties of finished fabrics were increased, which had positive significance for the practical application of automatic interior fabrics. The negative ion concentration increased with the repeating vibration of the fabric. The negative ion concentration released from the 900 000 times of vibration of fabric reached 5610 pc/ cm3, which provided experimental basis for the constant negative ion concentration releasing from the nano-negative ion automatic interior fabric during long period.
