Abstract:
Using decamethyl cyclopentasilaxane (D5) as soaping medium for reactive dyeing can significantly reduce water consumption and wastewater discharge in soaping process and be a matching process for the novel reactive dyeing technology in dye/D5 suspension system. Taking the dye concentration of water extraction liquid of the soaped as the evaluating index, the conditions such as the type and amount of soaping agent, the amount of water, temperature and time were optimized by single factor. The results showed that the optimal D5 soaping process of cotton fabric dyed in Reactive Dye/D5 system was: N-Polyoxyethylated-N-octadecylamine 1.5g/L,D5 bath ratio 1:50,water amount of three times of fabric weight, time 10 min, and temperature 95℃. Compared the soaping efficiency of water dyed and water soaped samples and D5 dyed and D5 soaped samples with the similar color depth (K/S value), both reached the similar levels, and the color fastness can meet the general requirement.
