Abstract: Through analyzing the force acting upon the main hooks,the maximum speed of various kinds of down-pull element can be computed. This may apply to the high speed jacquard as well as the electronic jacquard. Proper selection of materials for making main hooks will prolong the service life of the figure pattern card. This may provide a reference for the manufacturer and designing units.
