Abstract:
The functionalized graphene was prepared from the raw material of graphite by means of oxidation, inserting with isophorone discosuanate (IPDI) and restoring with hydrazine hydrate. The FG was used to mix with waterborne polyurethane (WPU) to prepare FG/WPU composite coating adhesive for modifying waterborne polyurethane. The structure of the FG was characterized by FTIR, organic elemental analytical and XRD, the dispersibility of the FG was investigated, the influences of dosages of FG on electrical conductivity, water resistant and mechanical property of the film were studied, and thermal stability of the film was measured. The results showed that FG could be dispersed well in DMF and WPU. With the dosages of FG increasing, the electrical resistivity of the film decreased, the water contact angle of the film increased, the tensile strength of the film increased and its elongation at break decreased. The thermal stability of WPU was improved after being modified by FG. Studies showed that electrical conductivity and water resistant of the film were improved after being modified with FG, and both of electrical conductivity and water resistant of the film had good performance.
