Abstract:
In order to investigate the tensile characteristics of warp knitted spacer fabrics, four fabric samples with different structures were subjected to tensile performance testing. The breaking strength, breaking elongation and tensile vurve characteristics of the fabric samples and the upper and lower surface layers thereof were analyzed, and the tensile mechanism and three dimensional scale change law of the warp knitted spacer fabrics were explatned. The influence of tensile strength and breaking elongation were discussed in terms of fabric layers. The results show that therr dimension change laws of the spacer fabric has different regular paterns, and the spacer fabric with lower breaking elongation would break up firstly. The spacer layer has no influence on tensile strength and breaking elongation but extendes the tensile progress. The tensile stength and breaking elongation of the surface layer decide the spacer fabric tensile property.
