The compatibility of polyacrylonitrile /soybean protein blend(PAN/SPI) was studied with polarized microscope,FTIR,scanning electron microscopy(SEM) with focuses on the factors affecting the compatibility of the two components and the mechanism of hydroethyl methacrylate(HEMA) in improving the compatibility of this system.The results showed that this system of PAN/SPI has partial compatibility and their compatibility can be improved by adding hydroxyethyl methocrylate because hydrogen bond has been formed in soybean protein solution after treatemt.

A model was developed to analyze the inter-filament mechanical function,and the creep of the cross section PTT and PET filaments was expatiated by four element models.The mechanical parameters of the filaments such as elasticity module and viscosity coefficient were got,which were used to validate the stress slack of the filaments,showing in good accord with the macro performance of the filaments.It can be seen that the four element models can be applied to character exactly the mechanical properties of the filaments in theory.It can describe the rapid elasticity and slow elasticity of the filaments and verify their creep,and is advantageous over the three element models.

Five kinds of fabrics made of cotton,ramie,bamboo,silk and wool respectively were buried in soil.The mechanical properties and configurations of the fibers from these biodegraded fabrics in soil were measured and analyzed.The results revealed that after being buried for 2 months in soil,there were a lot of holes and flaws on the surface of cotton,ramie and bamboo fiber and,in general their strength at break decreased by over 80%.The scale of wool was denuded but sign of microbial invasion into the inside of the wool fiber and almost no change in its mechanical properties.Whereas on the surface of silk appeared tiny holes and its strength was reduced to 70% of that of the control sample.When being buried for 6 months,cotton,ramie,bamboo and wool was completely degraded.At the same time,the number of holes on the silk fiber surface increased,strength at break decreased by 90%.Silk was degraded into fragments by animalcules,insects etc.in soil after 9 months.

In order to solve the problems of hemp such as hard handle,easy to crinkle and difficult to dye,the technology of steam explosion is used.The effect of steam explosion treatment on hemp fiber was discussed by analyzing the chemical composition,surface structure,mechanical and dyeing performance of hemp before and after the processing.It was proved that steam explosion processing was favorable for removing pectin,lignin and semi-cellulose,especially for the pectin,which improved the softness and dyeing performance of hemp,but the processing resulted in damage and strength loss of hemp.

The surface of rabbit hair is covered with a series of serrated scales,which make the fiber very smooth on the surface,low fiber-to-fiber friction factor and cohesion force,low dyeability,and easy falling from fabric.Low temperature gas plasma treatment was used for surface modification of rabbit hair.The SEM and CDCA-100F contact angle tester revealed that the serrations of the fibers were gradually removed by plasma treatment and the surface of the surface of the fibers was etched.The fiber′s crimp degree was improved and its strength was substantially retained.

This paper investigates the tensile properties of cashmere fibers and the tensile relaxation of cashmere single yarn in comparison with those of super-fine merino wool and wool yarn.It shows that the specific tenacity,tensile modulus and relaxation time of cashmere fiber are higher than those of wool;the relaxation rate of tensile stress of cashmere yarn is lower than that of wool yarn under the condition of small constant rate of extension,that is,cashmere yarn is more difficult to setting than wool yarn.These differences in mechanical properties between cashmere and wool fibers are resulting from that the-αcrystallinity of cashmere fiber is higher than that of wool.At different temperatures from 80℃to 130℃,the relaxation rate of tensile stress and degree of setting increase with the rising of temperature.However,when temperature is above 120℃,the increase of relaxation rate and degree of setting is not remarkable with the higher temperature.

For studying the effects of pectinase treatment on structures and fiber properties of naturally colored cotton fiber,the moisture absorption,fiber strength,chromatism and waxy materials content of the treated samples were tested.Surface structure and pigment distribution of the samples before and after treatment were observed by scanning electron microscope and bio-microscope respectively,and compared with those by alkali treatment,The results showed that pectinase treatment is beneficial to environmental protection of naturally colored cotton,improves its moisture absorption significantly without noticeable adverse effect on the fiber strength and structure,or the contents of waxy substance and pigments.So pectinase treatment is more suitable for improving the moisture absorption of naturally colored cotton.

was prepared by using sol-gel process,then the sol was applied to ACF(Activated Carbon Fiber) filter material by soaking method.The static and dynamic comparative study of the original sample and treated sample of ACF filter material were carried out with respect to the photocatalysis and oxidation of formaldehyde gas.In the static experiment,the formaldehyde purification rate of the original and treated samples were 33.3% and 39.6% respectively in weak light conditions,and,38.6% and 49.2% in strong light conditions;in the dynamic experiment,the values were 69.9% and 77.1% in weak light conditions,and 77.1% and 85.5% in strong light conitions.It has proven that nanometer

The new apparatus for determining water vapor permeablity of fabric utilizes waterproof vapor-permeable PTFE membrane to cover the base of moisture permeation cylinder,providing the source of saturated water vapor.The dry nitrogen stream is used as the carrier to get the vapor penetrating the fabric away.The water vapor transmission rate can be determined by measuring the relative humidity of outgoing nitrogen stream.The test results indicate that this test method is able to accurately evaluate the water vapor permeability of fabric within 5 minutes,and the coefficient of variance is less than 1% for water vapor permeability of the fabric tested.Therefore,this test method offers short test time,good repeatability,high sensitivity and less cost.It is very useful for routinely testing the water vapor permeability of fabrics for quality control of the textile plants.

This paper presents a method to study the creasing recovery property of woven fabrics under small creasing force based on the elastic property and the internal friction effect of fabric using a simple model.The relationship between creasing recovery force and its bending deformation of wool and wool/polyester woven fabrics are analyzed.From the needs of practical research situation,a testing method has been presented to study the creasing and bending behaviors of wool and wool/polyester fabrics based on the KES-FB3 compressometer.Parameters of the theoretical model equation are obtained from the real tests and the comparison of the experimental results and theoretical predictions indicates that the agreement between them is satisfactory for wool and wool/polyester fabrics.

The 3-point bending test was performed on Material Testing System(MTS) to investigate the quasi-static and fatigue behavior of ultra-thick 3-D orthogonal woven composites(glass/unsaturated resin),which aimed to predict the fatigue property of this material.The results revealed that the fatigue degradation of the material includes three stages: micro-crack appearing at initial stage,a long process of crack propagation and fatigue failure of the material after suffering the extraordinary degradation of stiffness.In addition,the fiber volume fractions of composites have great impact on the quasi-static mechanical property and play a decisive role in the fatigue behavior.Comparisons made between experimental data and a theoretical fatigue model show good agreement,which can be used to predict the fatigue residual modulus of composites.

The space grid of fiber microstructure of 3-D multidirectional braided composites provides more tailor flexibility in respect of the performance of the composites and their structures.To utilize the tailor-ability,genetic algorithm is adopted to optimize the topology parameters of fiber microstructure,linear density and pitch length so that the 3-D braided composites satisfy the lower limit requirement of stretch modulus and the minimum ratio of material mass to lateral Poisson.Research results show that on the base of the geometric equivalents between the space truss unit cell and the composites microstructure,the optimal topological microstructure can be found for the elastic demands of the composites by the methodology in which the genetic algorithm is combined with the finite element stress analysis of the space truss model of unit cell.

It introduced the manufacture technology of polylactic acid(PLA) meltblows.Through the SEM images,filtration efficiency and permeability test of the meltblowns,it analyzed the production parameters that affected the performance of PLA meltblowns,such as drying process,spinneret temperature,hot air temperature and press(velocity),the width of air gap.The results showed that PLA was a good material for meltblowing process and its spinning temperature was 190-230℃with the perfect temperature of 220℃.The diameter of fiber increased with the increase of hot air temperature.And the crimp degree of fiber decreased with the increase of hot air press(velocity).Also with the increase of air gap width,the diameter of fiber increased and crimp degree decreased.Furthermore the performance of the PLA meltblowns was affected accordingly by these hot air parameters.

According to the problem of union dyeing of wool/silk blends with one bath and one step dyeing,the low temperature dyeing with redox system was used in the one bath and one step dyeing of wool/silk blends.The results showed,under the redox system of H2O2/NH2CSNH2with the ratio of 0.045 mol/L∶ 0.015 mol/L,wool and silk fabrics were dyed in low temperature dyeing at 80℃with selected weak acid dyes respectively,the dyeing uptakes and the color yieldsK/Svalue of wool and silk fabrics were equal to or exceeded those dyed with normal boiling dyeing condition.The H2O2/NH2CSNH2redox system could improve the union dyeing property of wool/silk blends in the one bath and one step dyeing obviously.The UV and visible spectrum analysis revealed that the color of the dyeing solution was not changed under the redox system,and the washing fastness and rubbing fastness were not influenced either.

For improving the sizing performance of starch,nano-auxiliaries were incorporated into the starch,and the promoting effect of nano-auxiliaries to sizing with starch was investigated.The influences of chemical composition and particle size of nanoparticles upon the sizing behavior of the starch were evaluated through comparative experiments.It was discovered that the abrasion resistance of the sized yarns increases and the hairiness reduces through blending the nanoparticles with starch pastes.Moreover,the chemical composition and particle size of the nanoparticles show evident effect upon the performance of the sized cotton yarns.SiO2 is superior to TiO2in enhancing sizing behavior.The smaller the particle size,the better the promoting effect to starch sizing.

A new anti-mosquito finishing agent has been successfully prepared.Due to its active group and hydrophobic cavity,nonochlorotriazinyl--βcyclodextrin(ab.MCT--βCD) was used to embed DEET which is an anti-mosquito agent.DEET-embedded MCT--βCD was proved by means of ultraviolet-visible detector and the prime technique for preparing DEET-embedded MCT--βCD as an anti-mosquito finishing agent was determined as follows: temperature was 50℃,time was 2 h,stirring velocity was 300 r/min,and the ratio of DEET to MCT--βCD was 2∶1.DEET-embedded MCT--βCD have excellent heat-resistant and alkali-resistant stability,and it can meet the requirement of actual applications.

120 adult females of middle-age and old-age were measured by using hand anthropometric measurement and indirect photogrammetric measurement.Mean analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis of the measured data were carried out by using SPSS.Circumference,breadth and thickness dimensions were chosen for regression analysis to establish regression equations.The validity of the equations was tested.At the same time,according to mean of main body dimensions,front and nearside body′s contours were traced out.It can provide scientific reference for the modification of apparel sizes and styles,design of model form and apparel construction design.

The degree of impact of dry-cleaning on the compatibility of face and auxiliary materials of apparel is closely related with the quality of apparel.In the case of the face fabric and lining commonly used for women′s winter upper garment,the structure indexes are obtained through testing,dry-cleaning of the samples is performed with white spirit and tetrachloroethylene and the properties such as the thickness,length and width,crease recovery angle,drape coefficient,bending stiffness and color differences of the samples before and after cleaning are tested.With these data,it analyzes the influences of white spirit and tetrachloroethylene on the compatibility of face and auxiliary materials of the upper garment with the help of SPSS cluster analysis.A summary is made and suggests are given for garment designers and the relevant department of the sector.

The principle of tacking stitching of lockstitch sewing machine was analyzed,pointing out that whether the tacking stitching is in good order or not lies in how to control the tacking relay.Based on the characteristic of the lockstitch sewing machine,there are two method can be used.Both of them begin from one of needle signals of the sewing machine.The first one is that when the needle signal arrives,a delay subroutine will be called and then the tacking relay act at once.The second one is that when the needle signal arrives,a position pulse count subroutine will be called and then the tacking relay act at once too.The experimental results are presented in the end,which indicate that the tacking stitching is much orderly when the second method was used.

An electrical control system for glove knitting machines is constructed based on the Programmable System on Chip(PSoC)(CY8C29666) and the Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)(EP2C5).The main technical characteristics of the two chips are introduced,and the principle of choosing chips is expatiated in combination with the functional demands of glove knitting machines.The design method of the electrical control system for the full automatic glove knitting machine is analyzed.The hardware frame and software flow chart are given.Especially,the advanced thoughts of the inner hardware re-configuration and the embedded system design are fully utilized,so that the peripherally hardware circuits and the control program are very simplified.The reliability and stability of the whole equipment are rapidly improved.

Firstly,Mean Shift procedure was introduced.And then targeting at the research on fabric image segmentation,the extended Mean shift algorithm was used to try to solve the issue.A newly proposed fabric image segmentation algorithm involved two steps: Mean Shift image filtering and image segmentation,and their principles were explained respectively.The segmentation results were controlled by three important parameters,i.e.spatial bandwidth,color bandwidth and minimum region,whose influence,selection and analysis were demonstrated.Finally,the fabric image segmentation algorithm and the graph for comparison showing the previous CAD processed effect were given,which showed the feasibility,efficiency and robustness of that algorithm in fabric image processing.

The basic principle,method and characteristics of the mass-spring model are analyzed.The cloth is digitized as the mass grid with square distribution,the spring connections acting upon mass are replaced by the connections of rigid rod,the external forces acting upon mass are transmitted to the adjacent mass directly through the rigid rod,and the mass-rod model is constructed.According to Newton basic physical law,the mechanical equation of cloth is derived.The 3-D location of the mass is calculated using Verlet integration,the characteristic of rigid-rod restriction comes true using Jacobi relaxation,and cloth 3-D simulation is completed.In the meantime,the collision object is set,the handling of cloth in collision with outside object is accomplished.The adaptability of the model′s multiple constraints is verified.The model is simple and practical,its algorithm is stable and convergent.The excellent real time effect is obtained.

Clothing brand image is studied.Having made a systematic analysis of the brand image′s conception and connotation,brand image′s cognitive process,brand identity system,enterprise image identity system,and marketing communications,coupled with market survey on clothing brand,it has developed a clothing brand image system which consists of three hierarchies.On this basis,the weight distribution of each dimension is ascertained by adopting the methods of layer-analysis and expert-questionnaire.Accordingly,it is more systematic and perfect of this system,which will provide new thoughts for the clothing enterprise to create its own brand image.

In order to prepare bioactive functional fibers,the German company Zimmer blended seaweed particles with the spinning solution during the solvent spun process for cellulose fibers,and dispersed the seaweed particles in the resultant Seacell fibers.This article introduced the principles for making Seacell fibers and analyzed the types,sources,composition and bioactivities of seaweeds,as well as the absorption properties of the seaweed particles for silver ions during the activation process.
