      The rheological properities of blend solution from cellulose xanthate solution w ith chitin xanthate are invesgated,i.e.the blend ration,concentration and temper at ure of the solution on non-Newtonian Index,Structural Viscosity Index and Zero Shearing Viscosity.Chitin xanthate,cellulose xanthate and their blend solution b elong to non-Newtonian fluid,where non-Newtonian Index increases and structure viscosity decreases with increasing solution temperature.Increasing solution te mperature aids the improvement of its fluidity.The favorable temperature range v aries with blend ratio.

      From the dynamic surface pressure of Peregal O-20 spreading monolayres, the variation of the model material surface concentrations was obtained by extrapolating method.Taking advantage of the relation Πtc , the diffusion coefficients (D0) of the Peregal O-20 desorpted from the surface at air-water interface to the aqueous bulk was calculated.The order of D0 was 10-4~10-3 cm2/s.The initial surface concentration is the key factor of influence on the diffusion coefficients of Peregal O-20.

      The early structural and mechanical models for keratin fibers in moisture-stre tching are still used as the wool slenderzing technology and theory,and it is cl aimed that the slenderizing stretch is resulted from the change of the transform ation from α-heli x configuration to β-fold of macromolecules.The comments on the point of view have been made, the `slippage slenderizing' machanism for wool tops ar e proposed, and the experimental validation has been carried out on the new theory.

      The glass transition temperature was known through the measurement of DSC scan o f PLA fiber.The curve reflected the relation between the dye up-take and dyeing temperature for three disperse dyes with different chemi cal structure, the results show that the optimum temperature of dyeing is 110 ℃.In addition, based on the dyeing characteristic of PLA fiber with 12 kinds of disperse dyes,i t can be concluded that the molecules is too small or there are too much polar g roup in dye molecule,both aren't favorable to dyeing. On the other hand,the pre se nce of acetate group seems to be beneficial to increase affinity of dye for PLA fiber,and thus render higher dye up-take.

      Based on the pull-out tests of three fabrics with different fabric density and three-point bending tests of fabric reinforced cement, studied the in t erfacial bonding condition and the influence of fabric density on interfacial bo nding properties of fabric reinforced cement compoites, discussed the effe ct of the twist of yarn on i t.The results show that the influence of fabric density on the interfacial bondi ng properties is dual.Among the fabrics used in tests,the interface bonding proper ty of nylon fabric with warp density 80 threads/10 cm and weft density 50 threa ds/10 cm reinforced cement composites is relatively the optimal.

      Studied the failure of hard alloy cutter blades with table projector, SEM and sharpness tester.The results show that the wear of cutting edge is tiny a nd generated a lot of small notches on the cutter edges during the production o f cut fibers.These notches reduced the sharpness of cutter blades serivously and resulted in failure of blades as contrasted with wear.

      Spun poly (vinyl alcohol) with different degrees of alcoholysis by gel-spinn ing method and drew them,then got a series of PVA fiber with alcoholysis degree 99.5%,93% and 86%.Analyzed these fibers with FT-IR and NMR,and measured the stren gth of them.The results showed that partially alcoholized PVA with lower degree of alcoholysis could decrease the chance of H-bond formation,and increase dr aw ability and fiber strength.

      Studied the polymeric structure of the soybean\|protein fiber (PVA-SPF), the po ly ethylene macromolecule appeared as plane sawtooth configuration,however the soyb ean\|protein macromolecule has been modified from α-helical structure to β-c h ain configuration during spinning preparation;because there are a number of p olar groups on the both the polyethylene and the soybean protein macromolecule.A mong the macromolecules, diversiform bonds can been formed.In addition,the acet alizagio n of the PVA-SPF may form crosslinking between the polyethylene and the soybean protein,so the polymeric structure of the PVA-SPF is a kind of chain reticular structure.And the X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the crystallizing powe r of the PVA-SPF macromolecular is weak,while the ability forming the nematic s tructure is powerful.

      Using traditional measurement method for si lk sectional area,it waste time,strenuosity,and low precision disfigurement. The meas urement method for silk sectional area was advanced based on the technology of c omputer vision. It emploied the system of computer vision to obtain the silk sec tion image,advanced segmentation using the way of fuzzy entropy. The count resul t can be got in according to seed fillng algorithm and the silk single sectio nal-area effectively. The experiment result indicated that the method removed s ubjective error of traditional measurement method,and enhances metrical precisi on. The way adapts the need of roboticized measure for textiles.

      The properties of slenderized wool produced by a self-developed TJGD-ERDOS-02 model of wool false twist drawing equipment were tested and is reported along with the data on the imported fibers.       When stimulating signals with fixed value and varied frequencies are fed to the t extile fiber,the alternating current (AC) resistance fall quickly along with the increase of frequency at first. And after reaching a certain frequencies,the n r ise immediately. The phenomenon is called “AC electric conductivity bathtub eff ect.” Using this effect to design a prompt AC resistance method-oriented test ing system of the textile fiber moisture regain, the dnaio -back on the excessive measuring error and the plate polarization with traditio nal resistance-testing method can be reduced, which can afford the theoret ical proof for designing and developing a new prompt fiber moisture testing device.

      The chaotic phenomenon in terms of the observation time series of yar n evenness was studied. According to nonlinear dynamical systems(NDS ) theory, e vidence of chaotic behavior was searched:the correlation dimension and the large st Lyapunove exponent extracted was gotten from a single observed time series. The result shows that chaos exists in the series of yarn evenness which exhibit very differ ent character from white noise series.

      Based on the 3-D orthogonal fabric with war p binder yarns, six pieces of fabrics were woven with 2 kinds of binder float le n gths under 3 kinds of binder tensions.By comparing the binder yarn crimpness,fil ling yarn density as well as the fabric thickness,it was found that a proper bin der tension not only favored the forming of an ideal orthogonal fabric structure ,but also made the weaving process smoothly.The smaller binder float len gth would make the fabric structure distributed more evenly.

      The flexural resistance properties of AFRP - cement mortar treated under different temperatures were studied by means of thre e-point bending test.The experimental results indicated that the flexural resis tance strength of AFRP-cement mortar increases with the temperature rising belo w 200 ℃.But it begins to decrease when the temperature rises to 250 ℃ and tends to equilibrium.At 60,150,200 and 250 ℃ respectively,these fl exural resis tance strength is lower than these at room temper ature,and obviously decreases with the rising of temperature.With the rising of temperature,the fracture models of AFRP-cement mortar take a turn from accumula tion fracture with ductility to brittle collapse.

      The amino-silicone was prepared by hydrosilylation of hydrogen-silicone with a llyl amino.The amino-value of the amino-sili cone is 0.8~1.5, and then inserted the alkoxy group into the structure to imp rove the crosslink ability.The optimal reactive condition was the toluene as sol vent,H<sub>2</sub>PtCl<sub>6</sub> catalyst content 0.2 mmol/g and added the allyl amino to hyd rogen-silicone dropwise within 2 hours under reflux.Kept the temperature to r ea ct 2~3 h,then added n-propanol containing KOH in 30 minutes and reacted 90 m inutes to gain amino-silicone containing alkoxy group.

      An electronic cohesion tester has been devel oped to inspect the cohesion of raw silk consistently by analyzing the diameter of raw silk during abrasion.The experiments show that the diameter of raw silk increases with abrasion and the diameter increment depends on abrasion speed,yarn tension,linear density and cohesion property of raw silk.Under the test conditi on of constant abrasion speed,yarn tension,for raw silks of the same linear dens ity,diameter increment can be exclusively determined by cohesion,that is to say, the cohesion of raw silk can be evaluated in terms of the diameter increment.

      Design principle and method of a waterpower test instrument for composite geomembrane were described.Waterpower test for com posite geomembrane was realized by linking master computer to slaver 89C52 singl e-chip computer with RS-485 bus.Single-chip computer could control pressure a nd measure hydraulic pressure,water volume and time.The master computer could pr o cess collected data,print reports and draw curves as well as display and save th e result through communicating all slaver computers which improve the precision and efficiency of measurement.Some factors affecting the precision of measuremen t were also discussed.

      The key progresses in processing and apparat us of polyester industrial yarn production were reviewed in the light of structu re controlling during the formation processes according to the relationships of s tructure-properties-processing.The controlling on intrinsic viscosity of raw m aterial,the irregularities of undrawn yarn, the orientation and crystalline s tructure of the undrawn and the yarn during the drawing process was illustrated in detail.The irregularity of yarn was characterized by three means at least,w hich include the mass variations of yarn,the filament diameter variations of the cross-section of yarn,and the orientation and crystallinity variations of each filament cross-section.

      The basic concept of size compatibility a nd the adhesion role of sizes to fibers in warp yarns are introduced.In accordan ce with the damage manner of adhesion joint, the influences of morphological stru c ture of the adhesion layer formed among fibers in sized warp yarns upon the mech anical properties of sizes blends are discussed.The correlation be tween the compatibility and adhesive capacity of sizes is surveyed .It is concluded that the size blends will not show good adhesive capactiy when the compatibility of size components is too low.On the contrary,improvement on the compatibility of warp s izes certainly favors the adhesive capacity.
