In this study, PSU nanofiber membranes were produced by dissolving PSU particles in a mixed solution of DMF and acetone through electrostatic spinning. PSU nanofibers with different diameters were fabricated by adjusting the concentration of spinning solution to investigate their influence on pore structure, permeability, and filtration performance. As a result, the permeability, mechanical property, pore structure and porosity of thick/thin composed nanofiber membranes were in the middle of PSU-18 and PSU-22. Furthermore, PSU-18 has the highest filtration efficiency and pressure drop and PSU-22 has the lowest, while thick/thin composed nanofiber membrane has higher than 99% filtration efficiency and lower pressure drop. Composite nanofiber membranes produced with the concentration of 18% 、22% 、22% in three nozzles respectively have the best capability in filtration due to denser arrangement of the fibers comparing with other membranes in different formation.

It is used the fiber diameter of 3.42 and average pore diameter and porosity of 23.6 and 95.07% of glass fiber nonwoven as the filter material, then use the grain diameter of 13.076 A3 powder as impurity particles, and the dynamic viscosity for 1.275×10-2 Pa ? S of YH-15 engine oil as the testing liquid. So the D-30 multiple-experiment equipment was used to simulate the automobile engine oil filtration process and filter performance. According to the test results, firstly establishing impurities particle interception model and calculating the filtration efficiency of nonwoven and fiber and QF. The experimental results indicate that the pressure drop of glass fiber nonwoven increases as the increasing of time and particle mass. Additionally, the filtration efficiency of nonwoven is higher than fiber, and have the same change trend. The QF value can be used to express the filtration effect of glass fiber nonwoven, and the QF decreases as the decreasing of impurity particle diameter and the increasing of filtering time.

Movement law of nep in electrostatic field was studied. Some fiber neps and seed coat neps (SCN) were randomly selected from different materials and placed in a self-made electrostatic device, and their state of charging and take-off was observed by adjusting static voltage. The volatages of different neps when they take off electrostatic plate were recorded and the ranges were also obtained. The results show average electric field intensity of SCN is bigger than that of fiber nep when they take off electrostatic plate. The average electric field intensity had a positive linear correlation with their average size. These conclusions laid the theoretical foundations for applying of electrostatic web-cleaner on carding machine.

16 kinds (4 groups) of intertexture fabrics were designed and knitted with plain plating stitch and N6 looming densities in the program, using cooldry, theermolite, tencel and core-spun spandex/nylon yarns as the face yarn and the ground yarn respectively. The course count, wale count, surface density and thickness, elongation rate, and elastic recovery were tested. The influence of intertexture on the construction, specification and elasticity of seamless underwear fabric was investigatek by analysis of variance. The results showed that intertexture has significant influence on the course count, wale count, surface density, thickness, and elongation rate but little effect on the elastic recovery of the fabrics. For ovtaining fabric with greater surface density, thickness, and elongation rate, it is suggested that the way of intertexture be: core-spun spandex yarn and non-spandex yarn are arranged in an interval of 1 strand as the face yarn and the ground yarn, or non-spandex yarn as the face yarn and core-spun spandex yarn as the ground yarn. The research results provide certain reference for the design and development of seamless underwear.

In order to test and analyze the thermo-regulated performance of phase change textiles, cooling test and heating test were respectively designed, and the thermo-regulated performance of some phase change textiles was investigate by two methods (i.e. temperature change velocity and temperature change time ). The results show that the experimental results of cooling test and heating test have basically the same. The temperature change velocity method can get more comprehensive information, and the temperature change time method is relatively simple and fast. The test results of two methods are basically the same and can be chosen according to need. Compared with the normal textiles, the temperature change of phase change textiles during the process of cooling and heating is more slowly, so the thermo-regulated performance is better. The fabric specifications, such as thickness and tightness, have an effect on the thermo-regulated performance of phase change textiles to a certain extent.

Based on the problem caused by a large amount of consumptions for water, energy, and labor from fancy denim products, this study proposed a new fabric design approach and technology to circumvent this type of problem. The paper proposes the design concept to imitate semi-formed jeans with washing and grinding effects through digital jacquard design. A type of digitalized and fixed imitation image on typical denim jeans needs to be processed through computer-aided design. Variable shade structures respectively based on some typical denim weave are studied, and then innovative fabrics directly produced by the jacquard weaving can be shown and present certain denim washing and grinding effects. The paper gives design pattern which is especially for the integrated and semi-formed denim fabrics and clothing style, and presents a successful design experiment and methodology. The experiments ultimately have proven that this approach can not only achieve the eco-design and production of the denim without washing and grinding, but also improve the realization of the denim fabric and garment production efficiency and high value-added.

The impacts of the new thickening paste EcopO-2 and other common synthetic thickening pastes on the hand-feel of pigment printing were compared, and the mechanism for the significant hand-feeling improvement of the new thickening system in pigment printing was explored. The results showed that: the application of new thickening paste EcopO-2 with the high-quality adhesive, can significantly improve hand-feeling of pigment printing, the stiffness test and PhabrOmeter determination indicated that the printed cotton fabric as well as silk fabric showed a hand-feeling with corresponding level of the dye printing. The weight change test of the printing paste film, EDS elemental analysis and TG analysis showed that EcopO-2 plays an important role in the hand–feel improvement of the pigment printing. The basic reason could be that not only the EcopO-2 thickening system has very low solid content, but also the small molecules of its inner phase material could get into the adhesive film to plasticize and soften the film.

According to the results of the field study and the principle of protection priority, a new protective overall which is specially improved in waist, knees and openings of sleeve and leg was designed and made of selected material. Ergonomic trials were used to evaluate the properties of the garment. The contraction of cartridge peats in waist makes the overall fitted when halting and squatting with straight body. When slightly bending over, the cartridge peats make an average elongation of 2.5cm for this part and a maximum elongation of 4.6cm when crouching. And all of these elongations are limited to the controlled variable. In terms of sleeve and leg openings, the new overall is designed with triangle cut piece and sealed by zip. Its function is same as the common elastic sealing in skin cover and much better in comfort. Also in limb activity limited, the new overall makes a difference in all the parts in the related experiment, which means it can provide a better motility for the users. This investigation provides a better overall which can satisfy the needs of protection, functional, fit and comfort of oil tank cleaners specially.

Compression garment, which have important roles to reduce sport injury and improve athletic ability, is focused on the 21st century functional sportswear. As a research direction of skin stretching under running status, a new method for the study of human dynamic skin stretching is proposed. By analyzing the running cycle of action and Lower limb angle, running cycle will be broken down into three static action—running stride, fall, backswing. This paper focuses on studying both transversal and longitudinal extension differences when human is running, through the use of the VITUS SMART three-dimensional scanning system. Thereby, data of lower limb skin extension under different postures have been collected and preliminarily find out the regularity of skin changes during running, and that also provides the theoretical basis for optimize structural design of sports tight pants.

Traditional blue printed cloth and paper-cut are treasures of folk art in our country and have a long history. According to the comparison analysis of the Traditional blue printed cloth in Nantong and paper-cut in Jiaodong ,I found that some of the similarities and differences among the use of tools, the pattern ,conception, composition and modeling .The biggest differences are on the techniques. The printing plate of Nantong is composed by the unconnected boorish pattern which including point, short string and face.Jiaodong paper-cut is composed exquisitely by the strings which look like a net. The results of the comparative analysis could offer a broader space for the two ancient folk arts’ innovation development and modern design ,and let more people to understand the two kinds of folk arts and put them in better inheritance and development.

Accurate measurement and effective control of the yarn tension which changes rapidly are important factors in textile manufacturing process. Hall-type Contact tension sensor detects the cantilever’s deflection induced by the tension of yarn. The error of the sensor increases due to the vibration of cantilever under quicker yarn tension variation. This paper established a mathematical model for the contact tension sensor based on dynamics principle. A numerical algorithm to restrain errors caused by vibration from sensor’s signal was developed according to the mathematical model. Then a test bench which includes a microprocessor and a high Accuracy A/D convert module was set for verifying the effect of the algorithm. The results show that error suppression algorithm based the dynamic model on can eliminate error of vibration caused by the rapid changes in tension effectively. This paper provides theoretical references for application of contact tension senor under dynamic conditions.

To realize the fabric seam in calendaring process, a detection method is proposed to recognize the seam of image based on digital image processing. Taking down-proof fabric in calendaring process as example, the down-proof fabric images are processed into gray image and filtered with a median kernel firstly; and then the mean value, standard value and coefficient of variation (CV value) are extracted as the feature parameters; by comparing and analyzing the three feature parameters, CV value can be used to recognize the seam of fabric image at last. The experimental results show that the CV value is better suited to recognize the fabric seam which has a small amount of calculation with a high detection rate.

Anthropometry is an important component element of fashion design, pattern research and clothing production. Anthropometric technology has gone through from contact to non-contact and from manual anthropometry to 2D image and 3D anthropometry. The thesis separates 2D image-based non-contact Anthropometry into three steps: image silhouette extracting and characteristic body measurement, girth calculation, analysis of error and accuracy, and analyses the methods of every step. The trait of the anthropometry operating simply helps it applying to apparel e-commerce---clothing MTM online.
