High purity pine cellulose was extracted from pine sawdust by alkalization twice and acidification. The factors affecting purity of pine cellulose in the processes of alkalization and acidification were studied. the content of α-cellulose and nitric acid-ethanol cellulose in high purity pine cellulose was determined. The extraction process of cellulose was analyzed by IR and XRD. The results indicated that the optimal extraction conditions were as follows: the quality fraction of NaOH in first alkalization at 100℃ for 2h was 6%; the quality fraction of NaOH in second alkalization at 100℃ for 3h was 12%; the ratios of HNO3 and CH3COOH (V:V) in acidification at 100℃ for 30min was 1:3. The content of nitric acid-ethanol cellulose and α-cellulose in pine cellulose was 95% and 87% respectively. The recycle and environmental pollution of pine sawdust was solved to some extent and a new extractive method was got for cellulose.

For the purpose of recycling terephthalic acid (TPA) in polyester alkali peeling wastewater, solventing-out crystallization method is applied to separation of the TPA from the wastewater residue, using N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) as solvent, distilled water as precipitating agent and active carbon as decoloriser. The functional groups in the product are identified by infra-red spectrum (IR), and the purity and acid value of the product are determined by UV spectrophotometer and acid value titration, respectively. The rational mass ratios of the waste residue to DMF and the activated carbon to the waste residue are 1:12 and 0.6:1, respectively. The purity of recycled TPA is close to that of the standard TPA reagent (purity ≥ 99%). The acid value reaches 96.43% of that of the standard TPA reagent. Recycling rate is 86.54%. The research shows that the TPA in alkali peeling wastewater can be recycled effectively by using DMF solvent through solventing-out crystallization method.

Excavations at the tomb M29 of Yingpan in Xinjiang produced seed cotton with boll shell. The radiocarbon date gives the cotton a date of 845±40 BP. The cotton is identified as specie of Gossypium herbaceum by the analysis of the boll shell, seed, and fiber. This is the first scientific identification of the date and specie to seed cotton in China. From the historical literature, the introduction of G.herbaceum in Xinjiang, called the West Region in ancient times can be traced back to Han Dynasty,The planting of G.herbaceum spreaded from west to east, and just to Hexi Region before Yuan Dynasty. There are many archaeological discoveries of cotton fabrics in Xinjiang from Han, Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties, to Song and Yuan Dynasty. The identification of specie to seed cotton unearthed from Yingpan is consistent with historical records and confirmed that G.herbaceum was planted in the West Region in ancient times.

In order to solve the problems of further treatment and environmental pollution caused by textile industry waste, flax yarn waste was used to prepare cellulose through chemical degumming process. Then the product was grafted with acrylic acid to synthesize a novel cellulose-based superabsorbent composite. The synthesis process was optimized by single-factor experiments and the property of the product was also characterized. The optimal synthesis conditions obtained were: crylic acid at 5 g/g cellulose, ammonium persulfate at 0.1 g/g cellulose, N, N′-methylene-bis-acrylamide at 0.04 g/g cellulose, reaction temperature at 70℃, reaction time at 3 h. The water absorbencies of the obtained superabsorbent composite were 656 g/g distilled water, 382 g/g natural rainwater and 65 g/g 0.9wt% aqueous NaCl solution. The water retentions were 74.3% when the product was air dried at room temperature for 12 d, and 81.2 and 26.4% respectively when it was dried in oven at 30 and 60℃ for 10 h. The encouraging results suggest that the synthesized flax cellulose-based superabsorbent composite possess good water absorbency and retention capacities and can be used in the fields of agriculture and horticulture.

Based on worsted system, the pure slivers spun with super-short cashmere, whose length were less than 30mm, were achieved via orthogonal experimental, hence the optimal conditions of reprocessing were developed as follows: the number of the collocated working roll and stripped roll was one for loosening roll, two for breast cylinders, four for big cylinders, respectively, and Moller vegetable impurity removal was not employed. In addition, the tooth density of cylinder wire cloth and doffer wire cloth was 398 teeth/inch2, 403 teeth /inch2, respectively, and top production was 8g/m. The results demonstrated that the average losses of fiber length of the super-short cashmere sliver derived from optimal process were less than 0.5mm, and the number of the neps was less than 16 per gram. What was mentioned above met the demands of high-count yarns spun in the next process.

Spinning triangle is a critical region in the spinning process of staple yarn. Its geometry influences the distribution of fiber tension in the spinning triangle and consequently affects the properties of spun yarns. Of these the geometry parameters, the horizontal offset of the twisting point to the symmetric axis of nip line of the spinning triangle is considered as one of the most critical factors to influence the quality of yarn and attracted more and more attentions. Therefore, a new theoretical model describing the distribution of fiber tension in the general spinning triangle with Horizontal offset is given in this paper. It is shown that the fiber tension distribution in the spinning triangle can be determined with ease for different fiber feeding into and out the spinning triangle speed, input fiber tension, fiber tensile Young’s modulusand cross-sectional area, the number of fibers on each side of spinning triangle and the angle between each individual fiber and the center fiber.

It is essential to develop the dynamic vibration model of yarn strand and its influence during tufting process for controlling vibration amplitude of yarn tension and improve the carpet quality. The three-parameter constitutive relation was used for charactering the viscoelasticity of yarn strand, a partial differential equation governing the transverse vibration was derived from the Newton’s second law, in which geometric nonlinearity and material nonlinearity were all taken into account. The first-order Galerkin method was used for separating time variable from space variable, the nonlinear dynamics for transverse motion of axially moving yarn strand was developed. The effect of transport speed, amplitude of the tension perturbation, and the damping coefficient on the dynamic vibration behavior could be analyzed by applying the fourth order Runge-Kutta method in next paper. Based on above analysis, we can conclude that the main method for decreasing amplitude of vibration and vibration of tension is increasing damping coefficient, for example, increasing friction coefficient of jacquard roller.

Abstract In order to describe the yarn’s cross-section geometry of the woven plain fabric, it was necessary to study the flattening of the cross-sections of the yarns along their central lines. Designed 9 kinds of sample of fabrics tightness of 34.72%, 43.4%, 52.08%.Taked pictures by using Keyence digital microscope to samples, did non-destructive measurement and saved date with them. Excel and Origin software were used to input and process date, then drew linear graph of the yarn’s flatness and the measured position to analyze the flattening of yarn’s cross-sections and the impact of the tightness of these samples to the degree of flatness. The conclusions were made that the flattening coefficient of the yarn centerline was strong linear correlation, more near the center of point more great flattening, and not affected by covering factor of the fabric under the condition of low tightness of fabric.

In order to measure and value the moisture transfer within the fabric used in the clothing under stead state. Three-step method were employed to determine the water vapor resistance of the whole apparatus, the water vapor resistance of the air layer 1 upon fabric surface and the water vapor resistance of the air layer 2 between the fabric’s lower surface and the water surface. The effective moisture diffusion coefficient in air layer 2 was determined by the regressive method, and then calculated the effective moisture diffusion coefficient of fabric on the condition of air layer exists. This method can effectively avoid the influence of the air layer on the test accuracy of measuring water vapor permeability of fabrics. The test results can reflect the mass transfer characteristics of the fabrics and provided a experimental basis for the fabric comfort study.

This paper employ unsupervised pattern recognition to automatically identify the weave patterns of the fabric based on digital image processing technology. Firstly, it is using shear to correct of the tilt yarn, and gray projection curves of warp and weft to locate crossed points. Then texture features of each crossed-area image are extracted based on gray level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM). In order to reduce the amount of data redundancy, principal component analysis must be implemented to extract the most significant child feature. Finally, the kernel fuzzy C-means clustering is applied to classify the crossed points. The experimental results show that the algorithm can identify the basic fabric weave patterns correctly and output the chart of the identified weave pattern.

Separation membranes are widely involved in medicine, textile, sewage treatment, food and other fields. But it found that single membrane materials existed the disadvantage of low mechanical strength and short service life. Because insufficient support leaded membrane pore to collapse, separation stability and permeability were affected, in order to enhance membrane mechanical strength, usually choosing fabric as support to composite membrane preparation. In the view of fabric, this paper aimed at reviewing developmemts of reinforced fabric composite membrane at home and abroad, four kinds of reinforced knitting fabric were analyzed therein. Finally, the characteristics and development direction of composite membrane with different structure were addressed.
