In order to improve the polyester fiber′s wearability,it is necessary to carry out modification.This work investigated the effects of grafting temperature,the concentrations of initiator and monomer on the initial rate of graft polymerization.The rate of graft polymerization was found to depend on initiator and monomer concentrations to the 1.08st and 1.37st order respectively.Based on the assumption that single radical termination is the main way of termination reaction of grafting polymerization of polyester fiber under UV-light,the graft polymerization mechanism was proposed and the graft polymerization rate model was developed.The grafting temperature was found to obey the Arrhenius law,and the apparent active energy was 29.33 kJ/mol.

The preparation process and stability of cellulose carbamate solution—a new spinning cellulose were studied.The results showed that the cellulose carbamate with content of N in the range of 2.34%-3.56% synthesized from cellulose pulp with polymerization degree ranging from 350 to 632 can be well dissolved in sodium hydroxide solution with the concentration 2.25 mol/L to 3.0 mol/L at-5-5℃,forming a cellulose carbamate solution with straw yellow.Through osmotic treatment,the solution can be directly used for spinning,for it lives up to the requirement that the weight ratio of cellulose carbamate to sodium hydroxide should be≥1,and has improved viscosity and stability.In addition,researches reveal that the urea、AlCl3 and ZnCl2facilitate the dissolving of cellulose carbamate.

To minimize the environment pollution caused by the waste caprolactam and polyamide 6,the effects of ultraviolet onPhanerochaete chrysosporium(p.ch) for decomposing caprolactam and degrading polyamide 6 were studied.The results indicate thatP.chhas a good effect for decomposing caprolactam and whenP.chis treated with ultraviolet,its decomposing effect on caprolactam is enhanced greatly and it also has distinct etching effect on the surface of polyamide 6 membrane.So the microbial decomposing of caprolactam and degrading polyamide 6 byp.chcan be effected.

In order to assess the absorption of formaldehyde by chitosan fibers,nonwoven chitosan with aqueous formaldehyde solutions was treated under different conditions.The nonwoven chitosan fabric was first treated in sulfuric acid solutions with different pH in order to improve its reactivity to formaldehyde.Results showed that the chitosan fibers have obvious absorption properties for formaldehyde,with the maximum absorption capacity at 66.6 mg formaldehyde per gram fiber.pH of the pre-treatment solutions had some effect,whilst treatment temperature had little effect on the absorption properties.Because the fibers were in solid state during the treatment,the absorption rate was slow.In order for the fibers to fully absorb formaldehyde,the contact time should exceed 24 hours.

The chemical stability of PVDF/PVC membrane by dry-wet spinning process was studied.The results showed that the flux of PVDF/PVC membrane increased after cleaning with sodium hypochlorite solution and the extent of increase was related to the concentration of the solution and acting time;PVDF/PVC membrane exhibitsed better resistant to acid and oxidizing than to alkali.In addition,cleaning of the fouled membrane was studied and it was found that chemical cleaning was more effective than hydraulic cleaning.The anti-fouling property of the membrane should be further improved.This paper has provided theoretical basis for applications of PVDF/PVC hollow fiber membrane.

As one of important properties of the textured yarns,the bulkiness was defined as the percentage of the inner space to the whole.It was proved that EIB can do well in testing bulkiness.The bulkiness of air-jet textured yarn could be 70%-75%;and for differential shrinkage and air-jet multi-textured yarn,it is about 5% higher than that of air-jet textured yarn;for combed cotton yarn and worsted yarn,the bulkiness ranges 55%-60%,where the worsted yarn′s was about 5% higher than that of combed cotton yarn′s;the bulkiness of twisted filaments was 20%-30%,of which the value can be increased 2 times when it is textured.

Cashmere and fine wool have different scale structures,which is a major reference distinguishing them.A method is proposed to distinguish these two type fibers from each other intelligently.After the 8-bit grayscale images of fibers are captured by CCD camera,they are converted to the binary image only having one pixel wide edge using image technology.Then,four primarily comparable parameters describing the scale shape of fibers are extracted from these binary images and the database including them is established.A Bayes classification model,which is used to distinguish cashmere from fine wool,is developed on the basis of statistic hypothesis of four parameters based on the database.The simulation results show that the model is effective in distinguishing cashmere from fine wool,where the classification accuracy rate is 83 percent for cashmere and 90 percent for fine wool,and probably the classification accuracy rate increases with increasing parameters.

Fibers are all with many types of defects,and tensile strength of single fiber is always determined collectively by these defects.Tensile strength distribution of single fibers which have many types of defects was deduced and proved theoretically not submitting to tow-parameter Weibull distribution,but to poly-Weibull compound distribution.A strength prediction mode of fiber bundles were inferred farther.Aiming at poly-Weibull compound distribution of single fibers strength,numerical simulation results show that the bigger the discrete coefficient of single fiber tensile strength,the more predominant the influence of fiber length on average strength of single fibers and the lower the utilization of fiber tensile strength in fiber bundles.

Based on BP neural network model technology,a new approach was developed and applied to appraise the input parameters′significant degree through the weightiness and its distribution between the input and output layer.Using the fore-spinning working procedure data gathered from the worsted textiles enterprise,the roving unevenness and weight prediction models were established respectively.The results indicated that the models′mean relative errors are all less than 3%;the correlation coefficientR2between the prediction value and the actual are all more than 0.95.Using the weightiness extracted from the established models,the 13 input parameters′significance to the roving unevenness and weight were calculated respectively,and the remarkable and effective parameters are excavated out.Meanwhile contrasting to the multivariate regression significance analysis(MRSA),the BP neural network method is more exact than MRSA and can be used in the forecast and control of the actual produce and manufacture.

According to the elastic yarn pulling test stress and the strain curve characteristic,an elastic yarn stress and strain mathematical model was established using index fitting method,Correlation coefficientRof the model indicated that the obtained relationship is reliable.Then based on elastic yarn physical structure,a stress and strain physical model has been developed theoretically.The stress-strain curve obtained by this model is similar to that by the mathematical model.On this basis the tow quality parameters describing elastic yarn quality parameters are defined,and experimental results reveal that the elastic yarn quality obtained by the quality parameter evaluation is in good agreement with the actual yarn quality,showing certain application value in practice.

This paper investigates the feasibility of determining fabric softness by testing its tensile strength.Having got the optimal parameters of tensile strength testing,the indexes of the test result are compared with those of KES,FAST and fabric hardness testing machine LLY-01B analysis is carried out using SPSS software.The result reveals that they are in good agreement.The tensile strength testing method better reflects the surface and mechanical properties of the fabric such as thickness,face density,bending rigidity,and shear.Finally,a regress equation of tensile strength testing indexes and mechanical properties of the fabric is derived.

The influence of raw materials and weaving processing on the elasticity of PTT/wool fabric was investigated through experiments.The order of elasticity of different materials is as follows:wool and PTT/PET filament sirofil >wool/PTT filament sirofil fabric > the fabric interwoven with wool/PTT and PTT filament > PTT/wool blended fabric;varying boiling process,raising the boiling temperature,and increasing overfeed in heat setting all facilitate the elasticity improvement of the fabric.The relation equation between the structure parameters and the elastic elongation of PTT/wool blended fabric was established using multivariate linear regression method.The result shows that the loom warp tightness is the most important factor on elastic elongation,and followed by float,and finally,loom weft tightness.

In this new pretreatment,noble metals compounds were mixed with some special high polymer monomers,and then formed a uniform and stable dispersed system,where the terylene fabric was immersed in.As the temperature was elevated,high polymer monomers formed continuous network structure which restricted the metal in aggregating.Reduction of Pd2+and Ag+was carried out by the formed ammonia and noble metal-polymer catalytic film was formed in-situ,which could cause chemical plating of copper on the fabric no need of sensitizing the fabric with SnCl2.Preliminary investigation of the process was performed.When compared with the traditional pretreatment technology,this method is more convenient,non-toxic and reduces the amount of noble metals and production cost.The electromagnetic shielding material prepared by this method has many advantages such as smaller surface resistance and thinner.

Based on viscoelastic theory of textile material,the fabric recovery regular pattern was investigated.Under the presumption that the frictional constraint moment was proportional to the bending curvature of the fabric,the fabric was considered as viscoelastic sheet with internal constraint.The theoretical model which consisted of the three-element model in parallel with a sliding element was adopted to study the wrinkle recovery behavior of fabrics.The course of pressing,bending,releasing and recovery were analyzed using the same model,then,the regular pattern equation of wrinkle recovery angle was deduced.Besides,wool and wool/polyester blended fabrics were used as experimental samples and the comparison of the experimental results and theoretical results indicated that the agreement between them was satisfactory.

Four kinds of weft knitted fabric with different constructions were produced with glass fiber yarns on an electronic flat knitting machine and used for reinforcing the weft knitted composites by VARTM process.Tensile tests were carried out in the course and wale directions.The mechanical properties of the composites were investigated by analyzing the stress-strain curves.The influence of tuck loop and float on the tensile properties of weft knitted fabric reinforced composites was investigated.The results reveal that the degree of orientation and numbers of load-bearing yarns in two directions are major factors influencing tensile properties of four kinds of weft knitted fabric reinforced composites.The damage modes show that the weft knitted fabrics made from glass fiber yarns have good bonding with resins and thus have potential values for applications.

In order to study the practical structure of the orthogonal woven fabric,a weft binding orthogonal woven glass fiber fabric with 6 layer warp and 5 layer weft was produced on a rapier loom.The fabric was impregnated with polyester resin by VARI method and a composite sample was formed so as to observe the yarn shapes under microscope.In the orthogonal woven fabric,the warp and weft are nearly in straight shape and the binding weft,in the combined curve and straight line.The binding weft shape is associated with its position in the fabric,and has lesser and lesser straight part as nearing to the fabric center.Binding weft makes its confined warp tows gathering,and as a result,the rich and poor resin areas exist in the composite sample.The change of the binding weft shape also makes the fabric structure uneven.By analyzing the weaving process,it is found that the change of binding weft shape lies in its sliding in fabric forming process.From the fabric edge to the center,the binding weft′s sliding resistance gradually increases and so does its tension.

In order to improve the effect of hemp fiber degumming,this study adopted an advanced steam explosion technique.The experiment was carried out with focuses on the effect of pressure holding time on the improvement of fiber splitting degree,and remove of pectic,hemicellulose,and lignin substances.The results show that appropriate extension of the pressure holding time has achieved obvious effects in the improvement of fiber splitting degree,and remove of pectic,hemicellulose,and lignin substances during hemp fiber degumming by using steam explosion process.

In view of hemp fiber inherent drawbacks such as rigidity,poor prolongation and irreversible deformation under external strain,the treatment of liquid ammonia is applied to improve its poor physical properties.The article studies liquid ammonia effect on hemp fiber property and analyzes the result of experiments.It is found that after the liquid ammonia treatment,hemp fiber′s density decreases from 1.537 7 g/cm3to 1.531 9 g/cm3;the percent of compression and compression elasticity ascends;static and dynamic frictional coefficient declines.The study also reveals that the liquid ammonia treatment has rendered better dyeability to the fiber with little effect on its strength.

In order to study the dyeing properties and select the optimum color matching of the microencapsulated disperse dyes for combination dyeing,C.I.Disperse Red 73,C.I.Disperse Yellow 211 and C.I.Disperse Blue 183 were chosen to be microencapsulated.The ratios of the core to wall were changed during the course of microencapsulation so as to control the release rate of the disperse dyestuff.Meanwhile,the related dyeing properties of the microencapsulated disperse dyes were studied respectively,such as dyeing curves,up-take rate,levelness and build-up.Based on the results,the optimum mixing of the microencapsulated disperse dyes for combination dyeing in absence of auxiliaries,was found out.Then it was applied to combination dyeing of black shade,and the dyeings exhibited rather good levelness,dry rubbing fastness and washing durability.

The calcium nitrate modifying effect of silk knitted fabrics which are treated by Ca(NO3)2solution at different experiment conditions(temperature or time or reagent concentration) is studied.By using orthogonal experiment,the performance parameters of fabrics appearance before and after the process of calcium nitrate modifying are compared,and better processes of salt shrinkage are determined.The results show that the calcium nitrate modifying effects of single-side fabric are superior to double-sided fabric remarkably;the ratio of salt shrinkage decreases with the enhancement of twist;3 preferable conditions of calcium nitrate modifying are:(46.8%,80℃,8 min),(46.8%,65℃,12 min),and(45.2%,80℃,5 min) under which the effects of calcium nitrate modifying are obvious with less damage to the fabric.

The dyeing and finishing properties and processing technique of the copolymerized fiber made of wool regenerated protein and polyacrylonitrile were studied.The fiber was considered to have specific problems in bleaching and dyeing.The process conditions of the pretreatment with ferrous ion and of bleaching with H2O2were determined,and the whiteness obtained was up to the requirement.A new idea was brought out,that is,to make a new type of mixed dyestuff designed specially for the dyeing of this fiber.The special dyestuff for the fiber was prepared by first mixing cationic dye with anti-precipitator at the ratio of 1∶7-9(by weight) which was determined by employing conductometric method,then mixing with acid dye.This has provided a theoretic reference for dyestuff exploitation of this new type of fiber or similar fibers and fir dyeing and finishing thereof.

For enhancing the decolorizing effect of dye-house wastewater,a decoloring method using bacteria immobilized on sepiolite was developed.And decolorization of Acid Red B by immobilized cell was investigated.The effect of temperature,pH value,the amount of mycelium on the rate of discolorization was studied.The optimum decolorizing process conditions by bacteria immobilized on sepiolite were as follows: pretreating temperature 400℃,decolorizing time 72 h,33℃,pH 7.0,and the amount of mycelium 2%,and under these conditions 91.5% of decolorizing rate of Acid Red B was achieved.The experimental results show that when dye concentration is less than 100 mg/L,the discolorizing effect of bacteria immobilized on sepiolite is advantageous over that of free suspension bacteria.

In order to find out the skirt appearance shape change rules with fabric property and garment construction parameters,two fabrics with obviously different properties were selected.Influences of garment construction parameters,such as the number of skirt pieces and the skirt length,on the bell skirt appearance shape were studied through experiments.The results show that the bell skirt made of rigid fabric has wider skirt hem,bigger skirt hem angle,symmetrical and conspicuous skirt hem ripple compared with that of soft fabric.With skirt length lessening,the skirt hem angle of the bell skirt becomes wider obviously and the ripple more even,ripple shape changes gradually into flat and unnoticeable.However,increasing the number of skirt pieces,the ripple of the bell skirt becomes more and more even,especially with soft fabrics.

Through on-the-spot investigation in countrysides and towns in Zhejiang Shes area and research on the related historical documents,this paper macroscopically reveals and discusses aesthetics and art of Shes′ modern women formal dress in Zhejiang from three perspectives,i.e.,lay of form—primitive accumulation,lay of image—art accumulation,and lay of intuition—life accumulation.It points out the early common formal aesthetics of the human can also be found in color preference,constructions and patterns of Shes′modern women formal dress;the dress has the symbol′s function of totem assimilation,religion sentiment and exorcism as well as ornamental function of aesthetic art;the form,color,pattern and texture of formal dress represent the esthetics character about simplicity,straightforward and goodliness,which are the accumulation of life sentiment and social atmosphere.The formal dress is embodiment and continuity of Shes′aesthetic art,mentality and consciousness.

In order to obtain the optimal parameters of a new elliptic-gear & crank-rocker weft insertion mechanism,optimization mathematical models of the mechanism are established,its objective function is chosen as the minimum fluctuating acceleration of gripper head andi″sosceles trapezoid shaped″acceleration of gripper head in a mation loop,and its constraint equations are the formulas which can meet the requirements of inserting weft and the kinematic behaviors of the mechanism.The models are high-dimensional nonlinear multi-objective models with constraints.Combining adaptive infeasibility degree and elitist non-dominate sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-Π),an improved algorithm is proposed.And an aided-optimization software was compiled.A group of optimal parameters is obtained,and the kinematics performances of the mechanism with the optimal parameters are analyzed and compared with the original.The results show the algorithm is perfectible,which can solve nonlinear multi-objective optimization question with constraints effectively.

To meet the real-time performance requirement of high speed loom′s control system,a loom distributed control system based on CAN-bus was presented.Through analyzing CAN-bus′s character and comparing with RS-485 bus,it confirmed the feasibility and superiority of application of the CAN bus on loom;In allusion to the communication real-time performance,it analyzed the inherent limitation of CAN protocol and the deficiencies in application layer protocol CANOpen,a network real-time optimized method was proposed,and the realizing process of protocol CANOpen and the architecture of rapier loom distributed control system were presented.The results of the control system running indicated that it had a low error rate of connunication and worked steadily.The system has some application value.

A new drape tester,ZYF-3 fabric-drape three-dimensional tester,is introduced.The instrument is an integration of optical,mechanical and electronic.It uses the method of annular structure light as the test principle.Firstly,the annular structure light is generated by the paraboloid and the raster;then,by using the Charge Coupled Device(CCD) lens,the light and shade alternating contour stripes formed on the surface of fabric are obtained;and finally,the software system realizes the contour stripes and the edge of fabric recognition,and completes the data processing.It not only can obtain each evaluation indicator that express fabric drapability,but also realizes the simulation and reconstruction of fabric 3D drape shape.It provides a new method for fabric drapability appraise and for further study.

This paper presents the architectural design and overall design for a distributed integrated information management system of a large scale cotton-spinning company after completing the detailed system requirement analysis.In the system,an architecture based on J2EE of six-layer is provided,and the main functions for each layer are described.The key technologies such as component technology,system integration technology which the system adopts are focused.Then,according to the characteristics of production,management and sales of the company the system overall design is presented with detailed description of each module.The system performance proves that the management level and efficiency of the company are improved and production cost is reduced significantly after application of the system.The company has achieved the total quality management with entire procedure and entire-personnel participating on a whole.The production quality of the company improved notably.

This paper maked a breakthrough of the traditional mode of the garment parameterization pattern method.Taking the prototype women′s garment as the study object,the BP neural network was trained and verified with Java.The simulation results indicated that this algorithm was similar with our brain on making garment pattern.And this paper used the method of parametric coordinate which differs from those of extracting the length of pattern in the past.In this way,it was easier to extract the data from the pattern and to make transfer between them.These coordinate data express good data-correlation in the training of BP neural networks.
