In general, two jets bend outward because adjacent electric fields interfere with the other in the double-needle electrospinning process. Therefore, the continuity of electrospinning process and the evenness of fiber web decrease. This paper focuses on dual-nozzle electrospinning device, and two in the spinning process the fiber spray nozzle with the same charge as the mutually exclusive, exacerbated the instability of the jet, making the fiber web distribution uneven. On this basis, we designed a variety of auxiliary electrodes to stabilize the jet, uniform fiber network. By Ansoft Maxwell 3D electromagnetic field analysis software for modeling and analysis to explain why the auxiliary electrode can play such a role for the further development of electrospinning.

In order to further optimize spinning technology and improve the quality of metachromatic flat polyester filament, three different specs of metachromatic flat polyester filaments were designed , and the structure and properties of metachromatic flat and flat polyester filaments were tested and analysed. The results showed that: The cross section of metachromatic flat polyester filament is nonuniform size and irregular rectangle, and the edges is the elliptic shape. The distribution of thick and thin is the main factor to influence yarn properties. The more thick part percentage is, the greater the yarn breaking elongation, moisture regain, boiling shrinkage and the dyeing-uptake have, and the smaller the breaking strength has. The dry heat shrinkage has less dependance on time and greater influence on temperature. Especially, the shrinkage rate of the metachromatic flat filament wes significantly increased with the increase of the temperature.

Incorporated with finite element software package ABAQUS to calculate the impact responses of unidirectional composite in yarn and resin levels. The impact resistance properties and main energy absorption mechanisms of unidirectional composite are illustrated by analyzing the bullet velocity-time curve, impact stress distribution in different components of unidirectional composite which compared with those of pure resin material. The impact energy was absorbed by the unidirectional composite during a short period of time; this induces a better energy absorption performance for the unidirectional composite. In addition, the peak value of stress in the yarn is greater than that in the resin. It is concluded that the impact energy is mainly absorbed by the reinforcement of yarns in the unidirectional composite. This leads to a better impact resistance performance for the unidirectional composite than the pure resin material.

The aim of present work is to determine the flow characteristics of compressible airflow in the yarn duct of interlacer by numerical simulations to make the effects of cross-sectional shapes of yarn duct on the performance of interlacers. CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software package ANSYS CFX is used to calculate flow patterns in yarn duct. Relations between the performance of the interlacer and distribution of velocity vector, airflow speed and particle trace of flow were clarified to propose the knowledge of design better interlacers. From the results of calculation, if vortices on the middle cross-section of the yarn duct make filaments revolve continuously, large number of tangles can be achieved. The velocity at the central point of the yarn duct decides the sufficiently opening of the filaments. However, too higher velocity makes filaments stay on the wall, hindering them from tangling with each other.

Co-woven-knitted (CWK) fabric and Multi-layered Biaxial Weft knitted (MBWK) fabric are produced with the same yarns and loop length, using glass filaments as inserted yarns and high tenacity polyester as stitch yarn. Tensile tests are carried out in the wale and course directions. The mechanical properties of the fabric are investigated by analyzing the stress-strain curves. The strength comparison is made between the CWK fabric and MBWK fabric. The results revealed that inserted yarns bear high load in low elongation to failure, and then, the knitted structure commits the low load in high elongation until it damage. Interwoven between warp and weft yarns leads to large buckling of them, the strength of the CWK fabric is lower than the MBWK fabric, but the interwoven makes knitting yarn in a station of pre-draft, reflecting the knitting yarn being a the role of better bundled on warp and weft.

Abstract : In this study, keratin was extracted from wool by an oxidation-reduction two-bath method. The soluble ratio of wool was 87%,and the molecular weight distribution of the extracted keratin was 45-60 kDa. The results of FTIR and TGA showed that the functional groups of the keratin are nearly the same as wool, furthermore, the thermal stability was not observed to change much. Hybrid films with better mechanical properties were prepared by adding chitosan into keratin with different proportions. It can be seen from contact angle measurement and DMA analysis that the break strength increased and hydrophilicity decreased with an increase of chitosan contents in the hybrid films.

The capsulated super-fine disperse dye was prepared by phase separation technique with styrene maleic copolymer. The effects of glycerin and Tween 80 content on colloidal properties of super-fine disperse dye were investigated, and then discussing the effect factors of droplets formation process based on suitable viscosity, surface tension and certain stability. The FTIR and TEM results showed that capsulated super-fine disperse dye was prepared successfully. Capsulated super-fine disperse dye and glycerin could improve viscosity and Tween 80 could greatly affect surface tension. Besides, they could affect storage stability of the dispersion. Either viscosity increasing or surface tension reducing made the droplets break easily. In addition, decreasing surface tension could lead to droplet’s maximum volume smaller. Viscosity might be the main factor of “satellite droplet” why formed. Especially, when viscosity was lower the “satellite droplet” was more obvious, coinciding with the lord droplets more difficultly.

Shading measurement of dyeing products is the key to quality assessment. Different illuminants will lead to different color evaluation errors. In this paper we introduce a new illumination correction algorithm based on spherical harmonic theory into the color difference detection of dyeing products. Firstly, the collected images under the same light source are computed using the color constancy algorithm; then the R/S values of the dyeing products are measured under different illuminants and the spectral energy estimation and illumination compensation are done based on spherical harmonic theory; Finally, two shading evaluation formulas CMC(2:1) and CIE1976L*a*b* commonly used in textile industry are adopted to analyze the image processing effects of the above two algorithms. Experimental results show that whiling being used in color difference, the proposed method can reduce the evaluation errors caused by inconsistent illuminations and improve the integrity of quality evaluation of the dyeing products through achieving the mutual conversion of images between light sources.

Aiming at the outstanding issues of production quota management in the mode of the multi-species and small batches garment production, the thesis puts forward a new method which combines the standard data with the learning curve. As to the standard data method, firstly, a database of standard time can be established according to different working procedures of the work categories, operating units, job content, and standard time. Next, while producing new style, clothes can be decomposed into different working procedures according to pattern, finding appropriate data to synthesize the standard time. The method of learning curve is to determine the volume coefficient by learning curves fitting of pipeline. Depending on the volume conditions, correction of standard working hours is done according to the volume coefficient, so as to meet the needs of dynamic management of working hours. The application of the combination of the two methods is proved practical through enterprise examples, beneficial for enterprises to achieve rapid response and accurate management.

In this paper, intramolecular flame-retarded PET resins were prepared via copolymerization reaction by using reactive halogen-free ?ame retardant CEPPA as a third monomer. Then flame-retarded PET fibers were fabricated by melting spinning process. The phosphorus contents in the flame-retarded PET resins were analyzed by means of elementary analysis and NMR. The results showed that the majority of CEPPA were directly reacted into the PET chains. The crystallization property, dyeing behavior, mechanical property and flame retardation of the flame-retarded PET fibers were also investigated. The results showed that the crystallinity of flame-retarded PET fiber was decreased as increasing the phosphorus content, which led to the improved dyeing properties of the fibers. The dye-uptake of the fiber with disperse dyes at atmosphere pressure and boiling temperature was above 90%. Moreover, the flame- retarded PET fibers exhibit superior ?re resistance. The limiting oxygen index (LOI) value was about 35% and the anti-dripping property was also improved.

In this article, the solid-state polycondensation (SSP) of aromatic copolyester with low molecular weight was studied to prepare aromatic copolyester fiber with high strength and high modulus. Their rheological properties before and after SSP were analyzed. And the melt-spinning experiments of aromatic copolyester were operated. It is shown that SSP can increase the molecular weight greatly. Rheological analysis showed that the aromatic copolyester melt was a typical non-Newtonian fluid that exhibited shear thinning behavior. The apparent viscosity decreased and non-Newtonian index increased with the increasing of the temperature. The as-spun fiber with sample after SSP had higher strength than one before SSP. SEM images showed that the aromatic copolyester fiber is composed of macrofibril with 5 μm and fibril with 1μm.

Abstract: The development of poly(phenylene-1,3,4-oxadiazoles) (POD) fibers in home and abroad were discussed. The functional monomers containing phosphorus or halogen were copolymerized with POD for improving the cyclization degree and flammability of POD fibers, whose LOI can be up to 30. The coagulating conditions had an influence on the aggregation state, surface and mechanical properties of POD fibers. Sulphuric acid solution of 40~50% concentration is the best coagulating agent. Compared with other heat resistant fibers, POD fibers have a better thermal stability than PPS, Nomex and Tanlon. Besides, the good combination of other performance, such as mechanical properties, chemical resistance and dyeing ability, enhances the application of POD fibers in many fields.

Thermal Oxidizing Aging properties of modified aromatic polyoxadiazoles fiber at 200℃、250℃ and 300℃ were studied by the Thermal Oxidizing Aging method, and then its thermal properties were compared with that of m-aramid fiber and polyimide fiber. The results show that the breaking strength retention of modified aromatic polyoxadiazoles fiber after heat aging of 80 days at 200℃ is near 90%, over 60% after 65 days at 250℃, and more than 70% after 25 days at 300℃. The results also show that the linear density of modified aromatic polyoxadiazoles fiber after thermal oxidizing aging does not change obviously, which declares the excellent dimensional stability of modified aromatic polyoxadiazoles fiber.
