CaCl2-Formid Acid (FA) system was adopted to dissolve degummed silk, SF solution was dried, desalt to obtain SF films. Then the SF films were dissolved in FA to obtain SF solution with concentration of 4%, 6% and 8%, respectively. The SF nanofibers were made by electrospinning with cylinder collector. Rheological behavior, SEM, FTIR and degradation were applied to characterize the property of nanofibers. The results indicated that the viscosity of low concentration of solutions (4%) was low, and some droplets will appear when electrospinning, the diameter of fibers was coarse with high concentration of solutions (8%). In this paper, the fibers were superior with the concentration of 6%5%, and the diameter was range from 150nm to 250nm. After 75% ethanol treatment, the conformation of SF nanofibers was transformed from α-helical to β-sheet by FTIR. The degradation tests demonstrated that the morphology of nanofibers was changed obviously after soaked in PBS and actinomycetes protease solution, and it was confirmed that the fiber was biodegradable.

To investigate the effect of turbulent airflow field distribution and polymer solution jet flapping motion on solution-blown fiber morphology, the turbulent airflow field of a solution-blowing annular jet was numerically simulated using the computational fluid dynamic approach, polyacrylonitrile (PAN) solution jet flapping motion was captured with a high-speed camera and the motion law was analyzed. The simulations demonstrate that centerline velocity and turbulent intensity increases with the increase of air pressure; The experiments show that PAN fiber diameters decrease and become more uniform as the air pressure increases. However, the fiber morphology become worse, with the emergence of some fiber strands under even higher air pressures. Fiber morphology is correlated with stretching effects of airflow, bending instability and flapping motion of polymer solution jet, and solvent evaporation during solution-blowing process.

In order to design complicated structure of angle-interlock quckly and simplely, the structure diagrams were described and analyzed in this paper, and it was shown that there was a certain regularity between warps. Namely, structure diagrams were achived just based on the numbers of weft over warp for the first warp above the line of weft. According to the regularity, a simple and effective method was put forward to design angle-interlock fabrics of different organizational structures. It is concluded that the mulit-layer of fabric structure diagrams can be use digital to explain when several basic conditions were satisfied which this paper describes below. What's more, 2n-2 methods were found to design basic angle-interlock fabrics of n layers.Above this, the designing method was put forward . It has been proved that this new method makes the designing of angle-interlock woven fabrics simpler and faster with the aid of CAD drawing software.

To obtain the behavior of pilling of plain knitted wool fabric, the modified Martindale abrasion tester was adopted to measure the number of pills on the surface of the fabric and worn-off, getting the total number of pills. The experimental results showed that with the abrasion rub n≥13000, the number of pills on the surface was not obviously changed and developed steadily due to the balance between the increase of new pills, which was approximately linear, and the decrease of pills worn-off. The worn-off pills curve was likely to be a smooth S-shaped curve, which is leveled at both ends. The total number of pills was monotonically increasing, however, there was an obvious saturation point. In the platform region, the number of pills on the surface was steady and the morphology of pills was basically unchanged. However, the volume of pills was firstly decreased and then increased. The weight and the density of pills were monotonously increased. The platform region was the most stable region for pilling test.

In order to investigate the relationship between the hybrid structure and the failure mechanism, the impact properties of 2-D triaxial braid-hybrid laminated composites with same layers, under low impact velocity, were investigated. In the case of same laminating layers, the cracks generated on the surface of braid-hybrid laminated composites were more than that on the surface of braid non-hybrid laminated composites. And the extending range of cracks on the impacted surface was larger along the longitudinal direction, while on the back surface, it was larger along the transverse direction. The absorbed energy per thickness of carbon fiber + glass fiber+ carbon fiber braided laminated composite was 7.61% higher than the composites composed of only carbon fiber layers, while the glass fiber+ carbon fiber +glass fiber braided laminated composite increased by 2.21% than the glass fiber braid laminates. The hybrid laminated composites generated less damage propagation along thickness direction. The braid laminated composites can’t delaminate easily under low velocity impact. And the impact properties can be effectively improved through suitable hybrid laminating and fiber combination to achieve positive hybrid effect.

Cotton fabric was treated by using butane tetra carboxylic acid (BTCA) as finishing agent, sodium hypophosphite (SHP) and non-phosphorus HD-SP as hybrid catalyst. The effect of hybrid catalyst on the pH value and the anti-wrinkle property of treated fabric were investigated. The function mechanism of hybrid catalyst was also studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and ion relative concentration calculation. The results indicated that the pH value of fabric which was treated by hybrid catalyst can meet the requirement of GB 18401-2010, and consequently the washing process can be saved. Besides, the anti-wrinkle property of fabric treated by SHP 10 g/L and HD-SP 20 g/L as hybrid catalyst was comparable with that of fabric treated with SHP 16 g/L. However, the dosage of SHP can be decreased by 37.5%. FTIR analysis showed that the amount of ester bonds on fabric treated by hybrid catalyst was as same as that of fabric treated by SHP alone. Besides, more carboxyl groups were converted to carboxylate by hybrid catalyst according to ion relative concentration calculation, so that the pH value of treated fabric was increased.
