      The aromatization index(AI),cyclization index(CI),relative cyclization index(RCI) and density of PAN fibers were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and thermogravimetry coupled with mass spectroscopy(TG-MS).The veracity and applicability of the four evaluation methods on preoxidation extent of PAN fibers were also compared.The results showed that CI and RCI were more suitable to evaluate the preoxidation extent at initial stage of preoxidation process,while AI was suitable at middle and later stage.Density could be used to evaluate the preoxidation extent at the whole preoxidation process.

      PE fibers were first treated by atmospheric pressure helium(He) glow discharge plasma,then grafted with acrylic acid(AA) onto their surface so as to improve the hydrophilicity of PE fibers,The influences of different working parameters on the water contact angle and grafting yield were analyzed.IR and SEM,EDS were used to examine the morphological change of the treated PE samples. The results show that the change rule of water contact angle and grafting yield varies with working parameters.The grafted substrates indicate that polar groups have been successfully introduced onto the surface of PE fibers,and the hydrophilicity of PE fibers is obviously improved.

      To understand the fundamental physical properties of lotus fiber and provide the theoretical basis for developing lotus fiber fabric,this paper tested the fundamental physical properties of lotus fiber such as density,linear density and moisture regain.The results show that the density of lotus fiber is(1.184 8) g/cm~3,much less than that of cotton,ramie and wool fibers,but similar to that of silk and acrylic.The linear density of lotus fiber is 1.55 dtex,finer than ramie and silk fibers,and similar to cotton and cotton type chemical fibers.It indicates that the lotus fiber is very fine and is beneficial to resultant yarn strength and yarn evenness.It can spin high count yarns.The moisture regain of lotus fiber is 12.32%,larger than that of cotton and silk,and less than that of wool and viscose,but similar to that of ramie fiber.It shows that the lotus fiber has very good absorbent quality.

      The surface morphologies of flax fiber during retting of nature fermentation and enzyme-retting period were studied by scanning electron microscopy.The results showed that surface morphologies of flax fiber were not damaged obviously in those retting methods,and obvious differences of surface morphologies of final flax fibers obtained from nature fermentation retting and enzyme-retting were not observed.X-ray diffraction techniques were used to measure the degree of crystallinity and the orientation of flax fiber during retting.The findings showed that the crystallinity of flax fiber increased in a certain degree and the orientation had no significant change after both retting techniques.

      The character of worsted fore-spinning process has been briefly analyzed.As the roving quality′s importance and involving many parameters,the quality′s control and process parameters′ design become difficult.Based on 50 groups of historical data gathering from a worsted mill,rough set data analysis(RSDA) was actualized to get the reduced cores of roving unevenness(R_1) and weight(R_2) in Rosetta environment.According to R_1 and R_2,36 and 28 potential knowledge rules were got respectively.Take a certain group of tops as an example,the twelfth rule related R_1 was completely in accord with the case composed by the reduced attributes.Meanwhile RS was inducted to case-based reasoning(CBR) to establish the case index storehouse.It realized the effective union of rule-based reasoning(RBR) and CBR,in order to guide the craft design and product quality control.

      This paper presents an experimental investigation on the effect of three parameters——nozzle pressure,twisted surface angle and the distance between the needle and the hollow spindle inlet on the tenacity of polyester MVS yarn.The research results show that with the increase of the nozzle pressure,the yarn tenacity first increases and then decreases.The optimal tenacity can be obtained at 500 kPa.With the increase of the twisted surface angle,the yarn tenacity first increases and then decreases.The optimal tenacity can be obtained at 60°.With the increase of the distance between the needle and the hollow spindle inlet,the yarn tenacity first increases and then decreases.The optimal tenacity can be obtained at 1.5 mm.

      This approach,under some plausible assumptions,introduces a new model on the yarn unevenness:fiber lane realignment model.A new parameter-fiber lane′s internal space is introduced,which represents both of fiber ends on the yarn cross section and the fiber length in a yarn.Using the same principle as Martindale′s,the model is applied to a sample of yarn unevenness and fiber length distribution.Thus an empirical forecasting equation is presented.The forecasting is conducted through number of fiber in yarn profile and upper half mean length(UHML) of fibers in yarn.The forecasting is proved to be effective.

      Based on the basic principle of sizing and through deduction,this paper has revealed,by a series of formulas,the internal correlation of key sizing factors such as sizing regain,weight added ratio after squeezing,moisture regain after squeezing,solid content,absorption ratio of warp after squeezing,moisture regain of raw warp.And their impact on high pressure sizing is studied.In addition,by means of these formulas,experiments of ″the process parameters in sizing″ by indirect test methods are implemented,which focus on guiding sizing production accurately and rapidly,as well as adjustment of technique.Moreover,this paper has testified reasonable section of the experienced formula set up by Mr J Trauter from Germany,focusing on relation among the key sizing factors such as absorption ratio of warp after squeezing,solid content,sizing regain,and some revision is made to it.

      In order to simplify the conformation and transform of complex weaves matrix,this paper described a new method of conforming tubular weaves by using MatLab program.On the basis of matrix transform and design theory of tubular weaves,a matrix model of tubular weaves was established,and matrix transform method was studied.The results indicated that using different elements 1,2,3,0 to denote warp over weft of face layer,warp over weft of back layer,face warp over back weft,and weft over warp respectively.Kronecker algorithm can realize expansion of face and back weaves matrix.Then,by adding face and back weave matrix,tubular weaves matrix can be formed.According to the relationship among looming drafts,the draft plan and lifting plan can be created by matrix multiplication.The tubular weaves matrix can be created and drawn by MatLab program.MatLab program can simplify conformation and transform of complex weaves matrix.

      The uniform stochastic web visualized graphics have a great number of varying forms,which have stronger visual effects.According to the characteristics of silk fabrics and based on uniform stochastic web theory,the discussions with mathematical transforming methods of parameters and functions are concentrated on how to use the features of uniform stochastic graphics to get one kind of patterns in which some effects are achieved by arrangement of fine lines.Then silk weaving experiments are made by using the electronic jacquard machine.And according to experimental results obtained,some initial analysis and discussions are made for special textures formed by fine lines in patterns, and some relevant factors of design and technique,such as area of one period pattern,color separation of pattern,designing methods of fabric textures.

      The diaphragms used in the electrolyser for hydrogen preparation were briefly introduced.PPS and ES fibers were chosen by experiments,two kinds of diaphragms were developed with these fibers by needle punching and thermal calendaring.Their general performances were tested,and electrolyzing tests were carried out with asbestos diaphragm as a comparison.The results showed that in the electrolyte,the diaphragm made of asbestos has maximal ionic resistance,ES diaphragm has minimal,but it can not be used in hot alkali electrolyte for its poor heat-stability.PPS diaphragm can replace asbestos diaphragm for its good temperature-resistant,anti-corrosion and smaller ionic resistance.
      Influences of processing methods on spunlaced nonwovens strength

      In order to increase the strength of spunlaced nonwovens,three methods were experimented.The first was online and offline dipping methods,in either case,the spunlaced nonwovens strength can be increased notably,and the latter took the lead.The second one was adding ES fibers and coarse denier PET fibers separately,and then their strength elongation properties were compared with those of the pure PET fiber spunlaced nonwovens.Testing results showed that the strength increment was indistinctive,but the smoothness can be improved.Then calendaring method was adopted,under high pressure and(100 ℃) temperature,not only the strength can be increased,but also the density and softness.Thus,results of the paper provide ways for increasing spunlaced nonwovens strength and suitable methods could be selected according to the end use.

      Low-temperature dyeing auxiliary CWL was developed in terms of compounding and synergistic technique in order to decrease the thermosol dyeing temperature of polyester fiber.The application experiments of CWL in thermosol dyeing were discribed.The colour depth of the dyed fabrics was compared between the pre-plasticizing dyeing process and one bath dyeing process with auxiliary CWL.DSC analysis was used to test the glass temperature of polyester fiber.The results show that the glass temperature of polyester fiber treated with CWL has obviously dropped,therefore the plasticization effect is confirmed.And the colour depth of the fabric dyed by one bath process with CWL at(180 ℃) is the same as that dyed by normal thermosol dyeing at(210 ℃).Moreover,the K/S value of one bath dyeing process is much higher than that of the pre-plasticization dyeing process.

      To study the mordant dyeing mechanism with metallic ion mordant agents when dyeing is carried out with natural dyes,mordants containing metal ions such as titanium,iron,aluminum and zinc was applied onto the cotton fabric before it was dyed with natural dye — carminic acid.The dye-uptake,shade,and brightness of the dyed cotton fabric varied with different mordants and they exhibited certain changes when compared with non-premordanting counterpart.Mordant dyeing rendered the fabric better fastness and made the mechanical properties change;apparatus analysis showed that after mordanting with metallic ions,the surface of fabric is eroded slightly and the fixture can be seen apparently on the surface of fabric treated with Ti ion;the coordination reaction between metallic ions and coordination group on the fiber mainly acts on the amorphous area of fabric.

      In order to understand and control the properties of ultrasonic dyeing of wool with neutral dyes,the kinetics and thermodynamics of ultrasonic dyeing of wool were investigated with Lanacron Red S-G.The results indicated that ultrasonic treatment could increase the solubility and decrease the particle size of dyes.When compared with the conventional dyeing under the same temperature,ultrasonic dyeing can not only shorten dyeing time,increase dye up-taking,but also improve diffusion coefficient and dyeing rate.Analysis of the efficiency show that ultrasound facilitates the dyeing process remarkably.

      In order to improve the flame retardant property of Anti-fcell~ flame retardant fabric,the effects of dyeing and finishing reagents which include H_2SO_4,NaOH,dyes etc on the flame retardant property of Anti-fcell~ fiber have been researched by the methods of LOI test and TG analysis.The results indicate that the LOI value of Anti-fcell~ fiber is decreased greatly by the treatment of H_2SO_4 or NaOH.Mechanism of the effects of H_2SO_4 and NaOH on the flame retardant property of Anti-fcell~ fiber was discussed by thermal gravimetric analysis.Through dyeing experiments,the effect of NaOH was verified and it concluded that direct dyes and reactive dyes were suitable for dyeing Anti-fcell~ fiber.In addition,Na_2SO_4 and H_2O_2 had little influence on the LOI value,and anionic surfactants were more suitable for the fiber.

      To establish the upper control limit(UCL) for formaldehyde residue in textile matrix in the process of risk management,content of formaldehyde of textile samples collected randomly in domestic market was determined.Data distribution was fitted by 3 commonly used functions,i.e.,normal,Lognormal and Gamma;goodness-of fit of results shows that lognormal function is best fitted data distribution.Upper control limit for exposure point concentration of formaldehyde was calculated by Land method based on maximum likelihood estimates(MLEs) and Chebyshev method based on minimum variance unbiased estimates(MVUEs),and UCL values were(35.18 mg/kg) and(41.82 mg/kg),respectively.

      Aiming at improving the differences of surface flexibility between present hard materials thermal manikin and real body,and increasing the measurement accuracy of special functional clothing,this paper investigated a kind of simulated skin used in thermal manikin.Six kinds of polymeric elastomers were selected to be simulated skin material,which were high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber,natural rubber latex,medical silicone rubber,polystyrene elastomer TPR,polyolefin elastomer EVA,thermoplastic polyurethane TPU.Based on lots of experiments,such as tensile test,compression test,thermal property test,the synthetic performance of these materials were studied and the optimum simulated skin material was selected by means of fuzzy decision theory in fuzzy mathematics.Thermal manikin experiments in static and varying environmental conditions approved that this soft simulated skin does good results in improving the controlling precision,stability and environmental tolerability of thermal manikin.

      Analyzing the machine motion and basing on the analysis of the present nipper machine structure and motion as well as establishment of math model,the nipper process performance in conditions of different eccentric shaft parameters on E62 comber is analyzed by computer programming technology,and the relations between eccentric shaft speed ratio,steeve length and nipper opening degree,nipper opening-closing timing,and nipper pressure are discussed.The results indicate that appropriate decreasing of the eccentric shaft speed ratio and steeve length can make nipper opening timing advance and nipper opening degree before detaching increase,this is beneficial to cotton cluster carded by cylinder rising advanced and comber detaching-overlapping operation.

      To research the influence of the design of the fiber conveyor on the fibers′ conveying,unwinding,and separating in disc swirl spinning machine,the numerical method was employed to analyze and design the dimensional form of the fiber conveyor of disc swirl spinning machine.That is to simulate the fluid field in the fiber conveyor with CFD code,and modify the fiber conveyor form with CAD software based on the simulation results.This paper takes the straight wall type fiber conveyor as an example,a feasible design method is put forth,and the error analysis of the related test is carried out,and a novel fiber conveyor is presented.This paper provides creative thoughts in modifying the design of fiber conveyor.

      By analyzing the technical progress of auto-control system for unwinding tension of warp sheets from sizing beam in re-beaming machine,a new auto-control system is developed so as to ensure the tension of unwinding warp yarns even.A comparison is made between the old and new control systems in terms of technological characteristics.This new system quickly senses the change of unwinding tension of silk sheets from sizing beam by strain gauge sensor,uses frequency converting motors to apply the resistant or driving functions to the sizing beam and control the rotating velocity of sizing beam so that the unwinding tension can be kept at a preset value.This new system is also suitable for re-beaming of warp yarns for union fabrics of multi-fibers.The system demonstrates well operational performance when applied to a digital filament re-beaming machine with two accompanying unites.

      At present,many of the looms uses conventional PID control in China,which relays on the mathematical model and can′t get a good control result.Because of conventional PID control′s defects,an adaptive PID control algorithm based on RBF neural network with a Kalman filter is designed.The control algorithm uses three input-single output RBF radial neural network which learns system′s performance to find the best combination of PID,uses a Kalman filter which effectively filters out various noises of the loom,and achieves a constant tension value.The simulate results indicate that control effect and dynamic performance for adaptive PID control for warp tension system based on neural network are obviously superior to those of conventional PID control.

      In order to choose moving curve of cam follower and raise the speed of warp knitting machines,this study applies the method of fuzzy comprehensive assessment to the choice of cam moving curve.It expatiates the basic request of lateral motion of the guide bar,analyses the main targets of the cam,confirms the weight coefficient of each target,and judges the moving curve commonly used in cam design.The results show that the revision sinusoidal motion curve can meet the requirement of lateral motion of the guide bar and it has certain theoretical value for cam production of warp knitting machine.

      Because the general industrial communication network structure is complex and expensive,the system mode is improper widely used in the small-scale enterprise and workshop.This paper analyzes the basic function demands of the practical network communication system for automatic glove knitting machine,introduces the whole system construction of the glove knitting workshop based on the RS-485 serial bus.The electrical control system is implemented using the advanced PSoC(programmable system on chip) and the embedded design thoughts.The hardware interface and the protocol of the communication system are designed.The format of the inner data frame and the mode of communication transmission are represented.The network communication system reliability is discussed and the technical resolving schemes are put forward.Finally,the software function and the corresponding man-machine interface of the host computer software management system are simply introduced.

      In order to analyze the load distribution on the main shaft,a testing method is proposed to indirectly measure the resultant force acting upon the needle bar which is the terminal actuator of the main-shaft system in a carpet tufting machine.Most testing experiments are performed in the following cases: measuring forces upon the needle bar in a single period and forces in different revolutions. This study has shown that with the increase of the speed of the main shaft the impulse on the needle bar become obvious,and the pull force upon the bar increases and varies sharply,but the maximum press force varies insignificant.The process analysis has been carried on by using the experimental data,and then methods of gradually advancing the yarn feed time or properly decreasing the base fabric′s tension are proposed to improve the load distribution.The experiments above and the related process analysis will also provide technological basis for further analysis of the equivalent force moment on the main shaft.

      When selecting filtration medium there esits certain blindness in some cases,which is not benefit for the research and development of fabric filtration medium, so this paper has proposed a method for optimizing the selection and design of fabric filtration medium by computer simulation.It predigests the complex configuration of filtration medium first,and then produces the fictitious filtration medium by computer simulation.By setting different characteristic parameters of fabric filtration medium configuration,the collecting efficiency and pressure drop of filtration medium are computed so that the selection and design of filtration medium can be optimized on the basis of the dust particle diameter which can be collected by the filter medium.

      According to the feature of small and medium-sized apparel enterprise′s(SMAE) style development,and in combination with the cases of 2 brands,a method on how to create a evaluation model for SAME′s style developing system is put forward.First,a variable system based on the principle and process of SAME′s apparel style developing is set up.Then,by using gray correlation analysis method,the paper analyzes the layers and elements′ weight in the system.And finally, it establishes an evaluation model which is suitable for the characteristic of SAME.Applying it to the brands B·K and D·J,the forcast results of the new model are basically in aggreement with the real situation of these 2 brands′ development of styles.SAME′s style developing system evaluation model is proved feasible in practice.

      Having analyzed the operation of the supply chain of the garment sector of China,the common problems existed in the garment supply chain are discussed,pointing out that the customers demand change brings about demand forecast risk for garment enterprises.To investigate the effect of vendor managed inventory(VMI)-based policy for supply chain,a system dynamics model was developed for a garment enterprise based on examing the feedback mode of dynamic information of the supply and its operation efficiency and utilizing the method of system dynamics.The order and inventory situations of each member of the supply chain in VMI and non-VMI are presented by simulation and quantitative comparison.The results show that when compared with traditional supply chain operation,the bullwhip effect on a VMI system was becoming weakened.The inventory and order of the supply chain members are more placidity.At the same time,the ability of risk resistance is improved.

      Recently,application of quick response(QR) strategy in apparel supply chain is encountering bottleneck.Thus,a new mechanism called generalized QR strategy is suggested based on an integrated idea of ″fashion forecasting,collaborative business and risk-monitoring″.The proposed mechanism employs extended current business intelligence based on combination of Web Services,agent and data mining.Service-oriented system provides fashion forecasting tools,collaborative business decision support tools with fashion forecasting and supply chain risk early warning tools for every member such as apparel producers,sellers and fabric suppliers.The system settles support problems,such as safe information exchange and share,and cooperation mechanism,which are needed for implementing quick response under new market environments.The system can implement QR more efficiently.

      The space environment is an extremely complex one.The materials being applied in this environment are inevitably influenced by multiple factors simultaneously, the mechanical and physical chemical properties change,and some functions may lose.To know and evaluate the properties of materials in the space environment, we must adopt effective characterization and research methods.The scope of this presentation includes the basic characteristics,measurement methods and instruments for characterization of materials aging properties in the space environment,the domestic and foreign research status and existing problems of flexible materials aging properties under thermal,photo,vacuum,atomic and compound environments.Meanwhile,the main existing problems in characterization in the space environment are discussed.The study provides some guidance for evaluating the materials properties in space environment.
