      The structures and performances of the native kapok fibers were studied.The kapok fiber has thin wall and huge lumen,the hollow ratio can reach 97%.One end of the fiber tapers to one point and is closed,and the other end is bulbous shape and may be closed tightly.The bulk density of the fiber is 0^30 g/cm3.The kapok fiber mainly consists of cellulose and lignin,the crystallization degree is 35^90% and the specific birefringence is 0^017.The structure of the cell wall is looser than that of cotton.The fiber is good heat-resistant,which decomposing temperature is 296 ℃. The fiber stops decomposing and happens carbonizing at 354 ℃.

      PAN fibers with different drawing ratio and different preoxidation degree were investigated by means of sound velocimeter and X-ray diffraction meter.The experimental results show that the sound velocimeter is a very convenient and applied instrument for measuring overall orientation degree and preoxidation degree of PAN fibers,and can be used to study the orientation degree in amorphous region of PAN fiber associating with X-ray diffraction meter,and has the same effect on measuring preoxidation degree of PAN fiber with X-ray diffraction meter.

      The perfect coating agents were prepared by use of the Mini-tab DOE anlysis experiment with the ratio of nano-tuber PANIs and the hydrochloric PANIs,the dosage of CNT adulterant,the dosage of bonds and the dosage to fabric.The four factores were analyszed by testing the surface resistant of the coating fabric.The lowest surface resistance of coating fabric is 16 Ω,the highest SE (shielding effectiveness of microwave) is 48 dB,according to a series of coating technique experiments on single factor,the dosage of agent.So the conductivity and SE of the fabric was improved greatly,the techniques have important applications in development of the anti-electromagnetic wave,conducting electricity,anti-electrostatics,electronic warm fabric or costume.

      Bioactive ceramic fiber has widely demands in tissue engineering.In virtue of physical and chemical properties of silk,the preparation of hydroxyapatite slurry by using sol-gel method and to adsorb the slurry on surface of silk treated by a series of disposals and simultaneously to be consolidated on the surface were studied.Subsequently the bioactive calcium phosphate ceramic fibres with preferable tropism were prepared through reasonable design of sintering process of ceramic.

      One step method of irradiation and graft in liquid with XeCl excimer laser was applied to the graft of acrylamide onto PET film surface in order to improve surface hydrophilicity of PET.Water contact angle was measured to characterize surface hydrophilicity after treatment.The results show that laser irradiation and graft polymerization improve film surface hydrophilicity significantly.Laser dose,weight content of monomer solution,photosensitizer,retardant and pH of solution were found to influence graft reaction.

      β-cyclodextrin was anchored on fabric by sol-gel method in order to modify surface property and impart fabric new function.The effects of coupling agent and cyclodextrin on stability of sol-gel solution were discussed.The relations between temperature,dilution ratio and gel forming were presented, and the relations between the addtion method,the quantity and fastness of β-cydodextrin to be anchored on fabric were analyzed.As a result,when the dosage of coupling agent was no more than 0.05 mol/L and the adaptive temperature was between 80~120 ℃, cyclodextrin anchored on fabric may impart fabric fragrance-depositing property.

      The physical and mechanical properties of the nettle fibers were studied. Its micro-structure was observed and the obsorbent quality was analyzed. The results show that the main length of nettle fibers is short,varied by large ratio,especial the shorter fibres below 20 mm,the nettle fibers have strong power to drive water in spread and there is relationship with the nettle fibrous construction closely.This research could be used to develop nettle products.

      Acrylic acid was grafted onto PET fiber by the induce of Ar plasma.The process was optimized by evaluating the wettability of samples yielded under different conditions.The dyeing behaviour,calorific properties and infrared spectrogram of treated PET fiber were tested and analyzed.The surface morphological structure of treated PET samples was examined with SEM.The results show that the wettability of the grafted PET fiber was improved remarkably and the grafted fiber had a good durability.The glass transition point of the grafted fiber was not observed by DSC analysis.

      The influences of cellulase on structure and related property of the cotton fabric were studied.The micrographs showed that there were corroded phenomena not only on the surface but also into gap and capillary of cotton fiber.The crystallinity of cotton was decreased and partial crystalline could be transfered into amorphous. The polymerization degree of cotton fiber was decreased with the increasing of lost weight rate.Although the fabric qualities such as softness and surface smoothness were improved,the lost weight rate should be controlled about 4%,and the loss of strengh should be also controlled within 10%.The property of fabric would be damaged if the process was not controlled properly.

      The linen fabric was grafted for the improvement of its dyeing behaviors. The graft-copolymer and mechanism of linen fabric that was grafted acrylic acid via plasma initiation were studied. The graft-copolymer was analyzed with infrared spectrum,thermal analysis,laser Raman spectum,and its structure was analyzed with scanning electron microscope. The mechanism of grafting was discussed with the testing of nuclear magnetic resonance. The feasibility of grafted acrylic acid via plasma initiation onto linen fabric was proved through these kinds of test.

      In order to improve the wetting property,PET fiber was treated on surface. Water-dynamic contact angles on the fibers were measured with the dynamic contact angle instrument. The roughness of the fiber surface was measured by AFM(Atomic Force Microscopy). The PET fibers treated and untreated were dyed with disperse dye,the sampling was done at spaced points in time,the chroma was measured with Datacolor SF600. Results show that the roughness of the fiber surface are increased after treatment,the contant angles are decreased,the dyeing speed is increased evidently,the process of dye may be shortened more than 10 minutes to achieve the same colors.

      According to the nonlinear characteristics of sliver evenness,a local linear forecasting method and a global neural networks forecasting method were given to predict a segment of sliver evenness. The results show that the two methods are good at forecasting the series in short-term,and the local linear forecasting is better than the other in this condition. At the time,it also approves the validity of the application of chaos nonlinear in the analysis to sliver evenness.

      After degumming and modifying the kenaf bast fiber,galacturonic monohydrate was applied to detect the remnants of kenaf roving's pectin and lignin after the bio-scouring,and the removing rate of pectin was also determined quantitatively. Influencing factors such as concentration,temperature,pH value and action time that have the effect on the remnants of pectin and lignin were analyzed. The experiments indicate the compound enzyme act on the pectin and lignin of kenaf roving and fiber quality is obviously improved to be compared with other methods.

      Several factors affecting the spirality of aramid knitted fabrics made by the flat knitting machine were discussed. The experiments and theoretical analysis show that the spirality of aramid plain knitted fabrics is resulted mainly by the larger frictional coefficient of aramid filaments and the yarn's robbing back as the old loops casting-off the top of latch needle,and the spirality degree of aramid plain knitted fabrics is in inverse proportion to stitch length of the fabrics.

      The weaving capability of commingled yarns (GF/PP), which include micro-braided yarn,friction spun yarn, winding spun yarn and glass fiber yarn was carried out. Under the designed experimental conditions, after 100 cycles friction test, there was only a few hair appeared on the surface of the micro-braided yarn,and it's strength was hardly changed; but the friction spun yarn's wrapped fiber was peeled off completely, and its strength decreased 60%.As the test reached to 70 cycles,the winding spun yarn was broken; the glass fiber yarn brought lots of broken thread,and its strength decreased 52%.3D weaving test shows that micro-braided yarn has excellent weaving capability while the other yarns are difficult to be used for weaving, especially for weaving high densiny fabric and 3D fabric.

      Taking aim at the shortage of PVA slurry and combining the characteristic of nanometer materials, added nanometer materials into the traditional starch and crylic acid slurry to improve the preperty of traditional slurry and to replace the PVA partially or completely. Changed the proportion of nanometer additive, metamorphic starch, PVA and crylic acid, designed three kinds of experiments and tested the film performance respectively.The result indicates that the nanometer additive can improve size film abrasion resistance, better serous adherence,diminish size film thickness,enhance serous viscosity and retain moisture absorption of size film.The mixed slurry that comprises nanometer additive but don't contain PVA could be acquired more ideal size film.

      The flexural properties of cement externally bonded carbon fiber sheet and aramid fiber sheet respectively were investigated by the three-point bending test.The surfaces of these two fibers were modification and the influence of surface modification of fibers on the flexural properties of FRP-cement systems was also discussed.The results show that the maximum load of CFRP-cement and AFRP-cement increases obviously after carbon and aramid fiber sheets were modified by plasma.Furthermore,peeling-off doesn't happen when the specimens were bended.The FRP is tensile fracture,which shows that high strength of the fibers works.

      A multivariable fuzzy control strategy was proposed for the heat setting machine in post-procedure of printing and dyeing industry.In this strategy,the temperature field was controlled by means of three hierarchical subsections; each subsection was regulated with single fuzzy control loop so that the single loop temperature can be kept more precise.Based on this, a forward multivariable fuzzy controller was introduced for resolving the problems of subsections interference and temperature distributing uneven.Finally, the control strategy was completed in a real printing and dyeing process using SIEMENS PLC,the practical results show that the proposed approach is better than conventional PID approach.

      In order to improve the spinnability, the refined flax fibers were pretreated with finishing oils.The effects of the pretreatment finishing oil compounded by three types of finishing oils on the spinnabilities such as surface properties and mechanical properties of the flax fibers were studied.An effective pretreatment scheme was finally obtained,and the spinnability of flax fibers, the production efficiency and product quality can be increased.

      The test & research of droppings rate were carried on with gill pin licker-in carding machine.The change of droppings rate was mainly studied by different working angles of gill pin licker-in and saw-toothed licker-in at different working speeds.As a result of the experiments,the working angles of gill pin have certain influence on droppings rate of gill pin licker-in carding machine.When the working angles are between 58 and 66 degrees,there are almost no difference between its droppings rate and that of saw-toothed licker-in.However,when the working angle of gill pin is at 73 degrees,its droppings rate is obviously higher than that of saw-toothed licker-in.Smooth surface of gill pin and small friction coefficient are essential reasons for higher droppings rate of gill pin licker-in carding machine.

      The theoretical analysis and the preliminarily experimental research of the collecting spinning,which decreases the twist-triangle-area to control the hairiness of the yarn by congregating the yarn through setting a collector in an accessorial collecting zone ahead the quondam main draft zone were dealt with.The analysis of the hairiness,the evenness and the tenacity of collecting-spinning yarns and other contrastive yarns confirmed that the technology of collecting-spinning is excellently beneficial to control the yarn hairiness, though it may influence the evenness of yarn to some extent,and its mechanism was analyzed.

      The spinning process principle of composite yarn was introduced.According to the rebuilding cotton spinning machine and based on the practice in the spinning process,spinning technological process of composite yarn is defined.Some experiments on the primary processing parameters of the composite spinning yarn were carried out,and the influences of spinning factors on composite yarn quality were analyzed by the spinning processes.The problems of end-breakage and unevenness etc. of composite yarn in the spinning process were resolved by reasonable spinning process configuration.The effective technical measures and process parameters were discussed.The results could be as a reference data for improving the quality of composite yarn and developing the new products further.

      Through tests for all the sections of the support frames under various section conditions,it was resulted that the whole rigidity can be improved by increasing the static rigidity of the frame and consequently the effect to the performance of the whole machinery can be eliminated due to insufficient rigidity of the frame.When the frame rigidity approached to the rigid body,the performance of machinery would not be obviously improved even if the frame rigidity would be further increased.The shapes changes of the frame sections have remarkable effect on the anti-deformation of the frame.Therefore,frame rigidity can be improved through selection of shapes the frame sections after machinery constructions were seasonable and satisfied the requirements.

      Because of the limits of the traditional fieldbus control system,the technology background and feasibility of applying the industrial Ethernet network to the field of supervision and controlling of dyeing machines were studied.Especially the architecture of this network including its hardware components and software components was researched.The network was realized using the ADAM5000 Ethernet modules and the software including the dyeing control process software and the production management software was developed.The results show that the dyeing machines network based on the industrial Ethernet network has the advantages of building network simply,developing and maintaining easily and performing well and so on,and will provide some better realistic instructions on realizing the communication standardization of textile industry,the automatization and the informatization of the dyeing industry.

      A new controlling system of fully automatic flat machine based on embedded technology was introduced.The computer was replaced by a 32 bits micro-processor and its expansions in the system,it downloaded data that has been handled by the pattern preparing system,then sends the data to corresponding address in chips,in this way knitting was implemented.As an improtant part of the controlling system,the pattern preparing system provided programming interface to the user,and handled the processing information in the user's file.Processing information was saved in the computer which was used as the server.Functions of every block,structure of software and adopted data structure of the pattern preparing system were described in detail.

      The analysis of textiles property,such as texture,is generally acquired in textile research community.Analyzing the textile based on computer vision technology,which need image pre-processing and image enhancement,provides valuable data for the next analysis.Textile images were enhanced by using mean filter and gaussian filter with different templates.From the experiments,it could be shown that gaussian filter has good efficiency in disposing ordinary gaussian noise.However,larger template size does not necessarily mean better efficiency and the Efficiency of the template with about size 9×9 is preferable to that of others.

      The physical and machanical properties of polyblend fibers from liquid crystal polymers and polypropylene prepared under different conditions were described. Results show that since liquid crystal polymers can form fibers with a high strength and initial modulus,the polyblend fibers have a higher initial modulus than the polypropylene fibers.Due to the breakage of the LCP micro-fibrils,the strength of the drawn PP/LCP fibers is lower than that of the pure PP fibers.By using two-stage drawing,the physical and tensile properties of the PP/LCP polyblend fibers can be greatly improved.Experimental results show that the PP/LCP polyblend fibers have a much better thermal stability than the PP fibers.
