MnO2 was prepared by liquid phase deposition method, and PAN/MnO2 /DMF was used as precursor, and spun by electrospinning method. The structure and performance of nanodiber films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy  and thermal gravimetric analysis. The catalytic oxidation performance of nanofibers was tested in formaldehyde wastewater system. The results show the average diameter of the prepared manganese dioxide is 196.46 nm. With increases of manganese dioxide content, the average fiber diameter decreases. With the rise of voltage, the average fiber diameter decreases. When pH is 2 and temperature is 60℃, catalytic oxidation performance is the best. After 12 h absorption, 44.0% formaldehyde is removed, manganese dioxide fiber shows better catalytic oxidation performance of formaldehyde than manganese dioxide powder.

Based on the strong hydrophobicity of polylactic acid (PLA) fiber, the surface modification of PLA fiber grafted with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) was researched. The mechanical properties and structure of modified PLA fibers were characterized by the electronic universal strength testing machine, an infrared spectrometer and a scanning electron microscope. And the weight loss of fiber hydrolysis, water absorption and the grafting ratio of modified PLA fiber were determined. Results showed that PLA fiber after NaOH hydrolysis and acid hydrolysis were successfully grafted by polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), while PVP grafting rate of PLA fiber hydrolyzed by NaOH solution was lower than that of PLA fiber hydrolyzed by the acid hydrolysis. The water absorptions of two kinds of PLA fibers with different PVP grafting ration were obviously improved, and were 6.44 times and 8.97 times that of original PLA fiber, respectively. However, the mechanical properties of the modified PLA fiber were declined.

In order to keep more color information of digital pattern during the design of double-face jacquard fabric with different patterns, this paper presented a new design principle and method of that based on full-color structure. The basic design theory was that with the application of full-color compound fabric structure and regular stitch weaves, under layered-combination design mode, the figured double-face jacquard fabric could be designed through the combination of face and backing fabric structures that were designed, respectively in advance. By such way, the resultant fabric structure is capable of expressing independent full-color figuring effects on both sides of fabric, in which the back structure is covered by face structure. Beside, such fabric meets fully the requirement of balanced interlacement and poses no problem in industrial production by means of the application of the face, back and regular stitch weaves.

This paper proposed an approach to quantify and identify the apparel silhouettes. Firstly, a proper region in human face is selected as feature region to make relationship between this region and the head height, and after the human face detection conducted with AdaBoost method, the head height is determined in relation to face featured region. Then, according to the human body proportion the apparelled body is divided into six blocks such as head, shoulder-chest, chest-waist, waist-hip, thign and crus, and the fact that the heights of blocks vary along with the body-head ratio is discussed and the formula for calculating block heights with body-head ratio advances. Finally, the width of each block is extracted from the image, and the formulas for the shape values and percentages of A, T, H, X and O styles are established, which makes the apparel silhouettes quantified. Test results display that this method can identify apparel silhouettes in an accurate way.

For the purpose of providing technique support for improvement of yarn suction gun, software CFX 12.1 was used to simulate airflow patterns in the yarn suction gun with different geometrical parameters of the Laval tube, and the relation between the flow patterns and yarn suction performance was discussed. The influence mechanism of Laval tube geometry on the yarn performance was clarified. The simulation results and the experimental ones are in good agreement and the rational parameters were obtained as follows: the converging angle of Laval tube α= 90°and the diverging angle of Laval tube β = 6°. A rational converging angle of Laval tube accelerates the airflow smoothly in the Laval tube, and avoids more backflows and strong normal shock wave occurred in the Laval tube, which reduces kinetic energy loss. As a result, the suction efficiency increases. The suction efficiency can be raised through an appropriate diverging angle, which makes circumferential velocity component of airflow and air region of high speed and high density moderate. This increases drag force of air on the yarn and reduces friction of wall on the yarn and kinetic energy loss caused by the normal shock wave.

At the same time, technology oriented should be paid more attention than market oriented because innovation choice must be taken for multiple demand of the consumer. It is hilpful for improving innovation ability and adapting market demand of our extile and garment enterprises.

In order to develop applications of cotton fibers in the field of biomedical materials, this paper summarized the research progress in the functional modifications of cotton fibers and described the technologies, product performances and applications of oxidization, etherification, branchcopolymerization, chelation and other methods for the chemical structure of cellulose. Results showed that oxidized cellulose and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose fibers obtained from oxidized and etherified cotton have excellent haemostatic and absorption properties, while antimiceobial, anti-ultraviolet, catalyzing, solw releasing and other functions of the modified cotton fibers can be obtained by attaching polysaccharides, proteins, peptides, enzymes, cyclodextrins, lipids, metal ions and other biologically active materials. The functionally modified cotton fibers are highly valuable in the fields of biomedical materials and functional medical textional medical textile products.

Currently, researches on security clothing, whether at home ou abroad, mainly focus on desingn practices and technological applications while seldom focus on design patterns. In order to find a universal law of security clothing designing, a primary process to accomplish design of security clothing was put forward after analyzing related documents over the world in recent years and summarizing typical disign practices. This process can be described by "determination of design principles-selection of security elements and design method-implenentation of design and evaluation of effect-redesign and standardization". Based on clear design method, this pattern aimed at playing a leading role for the following practices. The whole process followed the concept of  "people-oriented, green and security", and enhanced the study and improvement of every cruterion at the meantime. Therefore,a clothing security system with a standards would be created.
