    • Melt spinning of poly(vinylidene fluoride) fibers with high strength

      In order to obtain poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) fibers with high tensile strength, orthogonal test and single factor test were designed to explore the best process parameters of melt spinning of PVDF fibers. Thermal analysis (DSC) , infrared spectrum (FTIR), X- ray diffraction (XRD), and tensile test were carried out to analyze the crystalline structure, crystal orientation and mechanical properties of the fibers. The results showed that: the important order of relevant factors on tensile strength was: winding speed > spineret temperature > spineret size > air gap, optimal winding speed was 10.2 m/min, optimal spineret temperature was 240 °C, optimal spineret size was 2.0 mm, optimal air gap was 40 cm; α-phase crystalline and β-phase crystalline was co-exist in as-spun fibers; by cold drawing, α-phase crystalline could be transformed into the β-phase, the crystallinity and orientation tactor were increased with the increase of draw ratio, which was hilpful to the improvement of mechanical properties, and the tensile strength reached 591 MPa when cold drawing ratio was 6.5.

      In attempt to improve the compatibility between hydrophilic ramie fibers and hydrophobic polypropylene(PP), 1-octylene treatment and atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) treatment were used on ramie fibers. The influence of the treatment sequence on modification effect was also investigated in this study. Surface morphology, wettability, surface chemical constitution and interfacial shear strength(IFSS) between ramie fibers and PP were studied to evaluate the modification effect. The result shows that fibers treated with plasma treatment followed by 1-octylene treatment get a most significant increase of carbon content and the IFSS between ramie fibers and PP increased by 40.0%, while fibers treated with 1-octylene treatment followed by plasma treatment show only 18.2% increase of the IFSS.

      Effects of hydrostatic pressure on rheological behavior of PET with different intrinsic viscosity

      The effects of hydrostatic pressure on the rheological behavior of PET with different intrinsic viscosities were studied using a capillary rheometer and its matched counterpressure chamber to control the pressure of capillary outlet in an average pressure of 5–50 MPa. The results indicated that the shear viscosity of PET exponentially increased with increasing average pressure, conforming to the Barus equation. The pressure coefficient decreased with increasing intrinsic viscosity, , when the intrinsic viscosity increased from 0.48 to 0.67 dl/g, the press coefficient decreased significantly, and this change with the increase in the shear rate was attenuated. When intrinsic viscosity ≥0.67 dl/g, the press coefficient changed slightly with intrinsic viscosity. The press coefficient decreased with increasing the shear rate. When the intrinsic viscosity was 0.48 dl/g, the change was significant; however, intrinsic viscosity ≥ 0.67 dl/g, the press coefficient changed slightly. The press coefficient decreased with increasing temperature and the change rate decreased significantly with the increase of temperature. The changes in Press coefficient of PET in different intrinsic viscosity indicated that when the intrinsic viscosity and the glass transition temperature was low, the affect of pressure on press coefficient was significantly. When the intrinsic viscosity were 0.67 and 1.00 dl/g, the decrease of the free volume were no longer obvious, therefore the affect of pressure on press coefficient were insignificant.

      Biaxial tensile tests of electrospun silk fibroin (SF) /poly (ε-caprolactone) (PCL) composite nanofiberous membranes were done in this paper,The biaxial tensile failure experiment was carried out under tensile rate ratios of 1:1, 2:1, 5:1 , 8:1 , and the biaxial cyclic tensile experiment were carried out under tensile rate ratios of  1:1、2:1、4:1、5:1、8:1. The results indicate that the tensile breaking load of electrospun composite nanofibrous membranes is closely related to the tensile rate ratios, and the biaxial tensile mechanical properties under cyclic loads are nonlinear and inelastic. In this paper, mathematical model describing the relationship between tensile loading and stretch rate during biaxial cyclic tensile testing was established through fitting the expeerimental curve, and it was applied to biaxial cyclic tensile testing under tensile rate ratio 4:1. The consistence of the modeling and experimental curves verifies that the mathematical model is effective.

      Composition and structure of skin dander included in cashmere

      Skin dander included in the cashmere seriously affected the quality of textiles. Pepsin method and restore method were used to extract collagen and keratin from cashmere skin dander, and its characterization was conducted. The results showed that cashmere skin dander is consisting 9.14% of moisture, 8.72% of fat,  11.36% of soluble solids, 60.13% of crude protein and 10.65% of ash, collagen and keratin protein accounts for 30.98% and 15.67% of the total protein, respectively, which are the major components of protein, the remaining proteins are needed further studied. Molecular weight of collagen from skin dander is concentrated at  49 ku, while the molecular weight of keratin distributes mainly in the rarea of 26 to 35 ku and 49 ku. The distributions of components among skin dander is different, fat and collagen distribute unevenly, while keratin shows a more uniform distribution, and water soluble solids play a major role on skin bonding between flaky skin danders. The findings provide a theoretical basis for addressing dark skin point among cashmere dyeing.

      For studying the influence of yarn formation process on properties of knitted fabrics made of air jet vortex-spun bamboo pulp colored yarns, based on tye Box-Behnken design method and by means of the Minitab16 software,  and the influence of formation process (nozzle pressure, yarn linear density, and yarn delivery speed) of air jet vortex spinning on breaking strength, breathability, draping property and abrasive resistance of knitted fabrics made of air jet vortex-spun bamboo pulp colored yarns were analyzed and discussed. The results showed that decreasing yarn linear density makes knitted fabrec′s breakingstrength decrease, and makes breathability and draping property increase first and then decrease slightly. With yarn delivery speed increasing, the breaking strength and breathability of knitted fabric are decreasing, but draping property is increasing. Nozzle pressure has no significant influence on knitted fabric’s breaking strength, breathability and abrasive resistance. However, the draping property of knitted fabric increases first and then decreases when nozzle pressure is increased. Knitted fabric’s abrasive resistance is mainly influenced by yarn delivery speed and yarn linear density, but its influence mechanism is rather complicated.

      In order to overcome the insufficient that the design of traditional jacquard pattern has big restrictions on the performance ability of pattern and color, the layered-combination design mode of digital jacquard was applied to achieve the goal of innovation of jacquard fabric. This paper analyzed the basic characteristics of hand-painted design and computer-aided design for jacquard fabric patterns under traditional plane design mode, and investigated the basic principles and methods of pattern design under layered-combination mode, and then, the feasible research methodology and framework diagram of pattern design under the layered-combination design mode was proposed that provides a new theoretical and practical method for the creation of digital jacquard. Besides, the feasibility of design principle and method has been verified through the design practice. It provides a new path for innovative design of digital jacquard pattern in the information age.

      Micro-structure analysis and bending property prediction of three-dimensional braided composites with T section

       According to the 4-step braiding principle of preforms with complex rectangular cross section, the yarns paths in braided preforms with T section were analyzed. The spatial paths of yarns were speculated in accordance with the movenents of carriers. By the volume-control method, the special micro-structure model in the join region of composites with T section was established. Assuming the yarn coss-section is an ellipse and under other ideal conditions, the mathematical relationship between braiding parameters was deduced. The bending modulus was predicted by the MatLab program which was developed based on bending stiffness synthesis method. The results showed that bending modulus decreased with braiding angle increasing and increased with fiber volume increasing, and bending property of T beam of three dimensional five directional braided composites was superior to T beam of three dimensional four directional braided composites. Finally, compared with the experimental results, the validity of bending property predicted by this method was verified.

      Study on simulation of flexible fabric bend surface based on four-point interpolation method

      In order to further improve the simulation of flexible fabric, it proposes a method for simulation of flexible fabric surface based on four-point interpolation in this paper. The specific research process is as follows. Firstly, the analysis of the fabric surface model based on four point interpolation method, then, using four-point interpolation method to subdivide the curves and surfaces of flexible fabric, finally, surface splicing and local modification are taken by four-point interpolation method, and using the comparative and experimental to verify the feasibility of four-point interpolation method. The result shows that the method based on four-point interpolation to simulate true flexible fabric is proposed in this paper, simulation accuracy can reach above 95%, which verifies the feasibility of the method.

      Preparation of wool keratin membranes prepared by ionic liquids method and reduction  C method

      In order to improve the extraction rate and application performance of wool keratin membrane, wool was dissolved by two methods including ionic liquids method and pretreatment-reduction C method (reduction C), wool keratin membrane were regenerated through different channels, and the performance and dissolution rate of wool keratin membranes obtained by the two method were compared. Compared to ionic lipuids method, the solubility of wool fibers by the pretreatment-Reduction C method is much higher, over 86%. It is indicated from the results of FT-IR that part of disulfide bonds was broken during the dissolution by ionic lipuid. It can be seen from X-ray diffraction that the regenerated membrane by ionic liquids method exhibited a β-sheet structure and the disappearance of the α-helix structure, while part of α-helix structure was remained if the keratin was dissolved by the pretreatment-Reduction c method.

      Influence of phosphorylation on retrogradation of carbamate starch size mixture

      In order to improve the retrogradtion of carbamate starch, a series of carbamate starch with different amount of phosphate groups were prepared through varying the feed ration of phosphate and urea to native corn starch. The influence of phosphorylation modification on the cold and hot viscosity, transparency, the volume of sedimentation and freeze-thaw stability were investigated by control tests. The experiment results demonstrated when the substitution degree of phosphorylation is increasing, the viscosity of the modified starch paste increases obviously, the difference of cold and hot viscosity of paste is reduced, the speed and the scale of retrogradation are also weakened. The modification is favorable to the improvement of the transparency, freeze-thaw stability and the anti-aging property of the starch paste.

      Aiming at the problem of large amount of alkali and hydrogen peroxide, long production cycle and low efficiency in traditional cold pad pre-treatment of cotton fabric, a new type of oxygen bleaching activators with homemade transition metal salt mixture, CNC, pyrophosphate was prepared, and through single factor and orthogonal experiments, the best conditions in new cold pad pretreatment for cotton fabric were as follows the mass concentration t of H2O2 was 30 g/L, the mass concentration of NaOH was 30 g/L, the mass concentration of activator was 6 g/L, the mass concentration of penetrant was 3 g/L, batching time was 7 h, mangle was 100% and temperature was room temperature. Under above conditions, the fabric whiteness was 84.2%, strength was 682.7N and capillary effect was 8 cm﹒30min-1. The results showed that not only did the new process can make the fabric to obtain better treatment effect but also it could reduce the amount of alkali and hydrogen peroxide, shorten stacking time, improve efficiency and lower production costs

      Cotton fabric was treated with nano alumina sol with Al(NO3)3 as precursor. The kinetics of alumina sol adsorption by cotton fabrics was studied by determination of Al content on the treated cotton with ICP. The adsorption of nano alumina sol on cotton fabric was studied by using Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models. The simulation showed that the alumina adsorption of cotton fabric matches Freundlich adsorption isotherms equation well, with the adsorption coefficient KF=1.16?10-3, n=1.095 and correlation coefficient R 0.9973.

      For cationic dyeable polyester fiber, an anti-reactive dye staining agent was prepared by using polyvinylpyrrolidione K30, cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide and polyoxyethylene alkyl amine via experiment optimum design. The effect of anti-staining agent on spectra absorbability of aqueous dye solution was studied, and its universal applicability in reactive dyeing was also discussed. Polyester staining of reactive dyes can be effectively weakened by the compound of polyvinylpyrrolidione K30, cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide and polyoxyethylene alkyl amine, and the best anti-staining effect can be achieved when their mass ratio was kept at 5︰1︰5. There is no visible effect of anti-staining agent on the spectra absorption curve, maximum absorption wavelength and absorbance of aqueous dye solution. And the anti-staining agent shows good universal applicability in reactive dyes.

      Preparation and performance characterization of nano-SiO2 printed fabric with snow camouflage protective properties

      Aiming at the short supply and little study on snow camouflage materials, and the complicated technical process of present materials, in this study, a new kind of polyester fabric having snow camouflage and UV protective properties was prepared by pigment printing technology, in which the nano-SiO2 particles were used as the white pigment, and the effects of pigments and binders on the snow camouflage properties were investigated,some of the wearability of the fabric have been tested as well. The results showed that the printed polyester fabrics had more than 80% reflectance in the UV region from 300 to 400 nm and had less than 5% T(UVA)AV value, and the UPF value was up to 300, all the value indicated that the printed polyester fabric has well snow camouflage and UV protective properties. In addition, the printed fabrics had good whiteness, handle, moisture permeability and soaping fastness.

      In order to improve the designing efficiency of the color style of the bedding items, the article uses K-means clustering algorithm and fuzzy membership function to calculate the dominant tone and color description to construct the color styles database of reference image for bedding items, to segment the foreground and background of source images and reference images. It also uses the expanded color harmony templates as the criteria and adopts standard Gauss distribution function to transfer the normality of foreground color in source images to the grey area in the color harmony template of reference images, thus to achieve the desired foreground color harmony transference. Then it adjusts the saturation and value of the merged images according to the variance and the mean value, and finally obtains target images whose styles are in accordance with the reference images, achieving the color harmony matching of the bedding items. The experimental results show the method in the article offers an effective way for color matching of the bedding items.

      The purpose of this paper is to find out the effect of fabric thickness on collar roll ease and differences between top and under of lapel collar. Commonly-used outwear fabrics were chosen to test the thickness of fabric with and without interlining. The lapel roll ease of under collar was tested with slash and spread method. The differences between top and under of lapel collar, including outer edge ease of top collar, roll line ease of top collar and the ease added to allow the outer edge of top collar hiding to the under collar, were tested. The relationship between fused fabric thickness and lapel roll ease, differences of top and under collar were discussed, and the predicting models were established. Moreover, three new fabrics were chosen to test the model by comparing the calculating result with the testing result, showing that the established model of collar roll ease and differences between top and under of lapel collar has good predicting effect since the result based on predicting model is basically coincide with the testing result. The research findings can provide the theoretical base for developing lapel collar patterns rapidly and accurately.

      Garment pattern design is a key component of garment design and development, and digitization, automation, efficiency, veracity of garment pattern design is important research direction under the background of garment CAD technology. Taking pattern design of typical female suit bodice as an example, a concept of CAD flexible model for pattern design is put forward, parametric design method is used, and the key technology of CAD flexible model design is explored. Combining CAD design experiment and samples experiment, the design of CAD flexible model of four-piece female suit is realized. Experiment results show that the flexibility, efficiency, veracity, applicability of CAD flexible model is verified, which provide reliable research foundation as well as accumulation to the continuous study of the quick generating of female suit garment pattern.

      The research is undertaken with a view to exploring the angle of knee joint(AKJ)and the single-step cycle(T). Let the subjects wear the two kneepads which are widely used in our daily life respectively, obtain the three-dimensional coordinate data about Lower limb on the basis of simulating human walking and jogging through the three-dimensional capture system. Then calculate the angle of the knee by using space vector angle calculation method, and using one-way ANOVA model analysis the protective effect on knee joint of the two different knee pads in various forms of exercise. It provides a new method for evaluating and measuring the protective effect of knee and also some basis for the research and development of the kneepad or other protective equipment.

      Aiming at the problem of real-time detection signal loss, yarn diameter measurement is difficult to achieve and algorithm complexity,in this paper line array CCD technology the contour coordinates to avoid interference and obtain hairiness of yarn diameter signal is used to the measurement of yarn diameter. According to the proposed algorithm, a non-contact on-line measurement system design, and developed a experimental scheme. By the experiments of measuring the yarn diameter, realized the fast and accurate measurement of the yarn diameter, confirmed the feasibility of contour tracking algorithm; through the analysis of the impact of the diameter of pixel extraction, set reasonable range of floating threshold line; analysis of changes in different sub fragment diameter, confirmed the accuracy and stability of measurement system and measurement results, also provides certain theory basis for the online detection of yarn quality.

      Paper explains a pattern prepare system of double-faced jacquard circular knitting machine based on object-oriented and command pattern is realized , and purposes system general structure and overall design scheme of software data structure. Here presens two decomposition algorithm of pattern bitmap in the case of long floating line and compression algorithm of dissociated data for 3-position(knit,tuck,float) double-faced jacquard circular knitting machine,and implement the conversion from pattern bitmap file to actuator file.       Aiming at the equilibrium problem between customized service level and cost-benefit control in apparel corpwrations, this paper discussed how cost-benefit analysis influences customized service decisions for raw material vendors and manufacturers in two-stages apparel supply chain and investigated in which case enterprises' customized service decision can both satisfy the demands of consumers and achieve the maximum benefit based on evolutionary game theory. The result show that one enterprise’s selection of customized service strategy is not only influenced by its behavior but also closely related to the decisions of its upstream corporations and downstream corporations. In a competitive market, the evolutionary direction and final stable equilibrium point can be obtained only if customized services of different corporations achieve the same level. In this case, enterprises’ additional benefits from customized service are not only greater than costs for customized service but also more than additional profit by taking a “free rider" during the process of providing service.

      Human body anthropometric data is fundamental basement for fashion design and manufacturing. And body database provides a platform to store and retrieve those data digitally. It’s also important support both in technology and data for body size characteristic research and apparel manufacturing. This paper attempted to carry out discussions on apparel industry’s requirements, obtaining technology and development trends of human body anthropometric data. A survey via multi channels showed basic situation of the establishment, operation and data information inside 22 human body databases domestic and overseas. We also conducted a comparative analysis of frame feature and function module among databases in normal used to provide guidance and accumulation for use and establishment of human body databases.

      Based on the fact that Zhejiang textile industry characteristics, we constructed a measurement model about industry chain and technology chain integration for calculating Zhejiang textile industry in stages. The results showed that in 2005-2008 and 2009-2012 in two phases, the degree of integration of Zhejiang textile industry chain and technology chain are in intermediate level of integration. And technology chain significantly behind the industrial chain, Zhejiang textile industry is a typical lagging technology-based industries. This means that the depth of the industry chain and technology chain integration is an important way to solve imbalances between industry chain and technology chain of Zhejiang textile. Zhejiang textile industry should take advantage of a relatively complete industrial chain of comparative advantage and adopt technological innovation, organizational innovation, market innovation and integrated innovation from upstream, midstream, downstream, and the whole chain of the industry chain in order to built up technology chain matching with the industrial chain.

      In view of difficult dispersion and easy agglomeration of micro-nano inorganic particles in functional hybrid fibers, the traditional characterization methods of inorganic particles dispersion were summarized and new techniques such as terahertz time-domain spectroscopy, ultrasonic wave and X-ray ultramicroscopy were also introduced. The investigation suggests that none of the methods can fully reflect dispersion state of inorganic particles in blending system. In the paper, the multi-level particle size evaluation system was proposed,which is mainly composed by 3M method including OM, SEM and TEM, supplemented by indirect methods. Besides, an attempt of incorporation terahertz time-domain spectroscopy, ultrasonic wave and X-ray ultramicroscopy into the evaluation system was made. To carry on a further reasearch on characterization methods of inorganic particles dispersion, the theories of dispersion characterization were reviewed.

      Wearable medical monitoring clothing can obtain low load and continuous long-term human physiological information, so as to achieve the purpose of early disease prevention and treatment. In this paper, the research progress of wearable medical monitoring clothing components and design of medical monitoring clothing system are reviewed. The key technologies such as wearable human physiological signal detection technology, sensing technology, integration technology of electronics and clothing, signal processing and communication system are introduced. Meanwhile, the medical applications are also introduced. Finally the main problems of wearable medical system are also analyzed and list.
